Former Ambassador to the United Nations and Trump National Security Advisor John Bolton is one of the poster children for the unelected bureaucrat grifter class. The man never misses an opportunity to embed himself into a presidential administration or influence the conversation on foreign affairs.
As the “Joke”-6 Commission continues to offer sleep aid to the nation with more riveting testimony from former Trump loyalists and staffers, Jake Tapper invited Bolton on his CNN show to delve into Trump’s motivations and reasons for perpetuating THE BIG LIE. While intended to make Trump look horrible and support the craven motivations of the J-6 Committee, Bolton ended up revealing some inconvenient truths of his own.

TAPPER: […] not heed the advice and keep shopping around until you end up with these group of misfits like Michael Flynn and Sydney Powell.
Is he just not capable of hearing, No?
BOLTON: Well, when it comes to his personal advantage, the answer is, he doesn’t listen to anybody else.
Trump didn’t listen to Bolton, which is why he resigned. Bolton is known for his petty vindictiveness.
Wish Trump had not listened to Dr. Fauci, but that’s a topic for another article.
Bolton continued his “expert” analysis into the mind of Donald J. Trump.
But I think it’s also important to understand while nothing Donald Trump did after the election in connection with the lie about the election fraud, none of it is defensible. None of it is defensible. It’s also a mistake, as some people have said, including on the committee, the commentators that somehow this was a carefully planned coup d’êtat aimed at the Constitution.
Interesting how some truth emerges. Bolton all but admits that it would be a mistake to view Trump’s “actions” as a “coup d’êtat aimed at the Constitution.” That saying about stopped clocks came to mind, but then Bolton started dropping more truth bombs, and not the ones he thought he was delivering.
BOLTON: That’s not the way Donald Trump does things. It’s rambling from one half-assed idea to another. One plan that falls through and another one comes up. That’s what he was doing, as I say, none of it defensible.
But you have to understand the nature of what the problem of Donald Trump is, he’s, to use a Star Wars metaphor, a disturbance in the Force. And it’s not an attack on our democracy, it’s Donald Trump looking out for Donald Trump, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
Once again, the petty vindictiveness comes to the fore, as well as a peek into Bolton’s total disregard for our representative republic.
Needing to continue to feed the legacy media’s BIG LIE, Tapper pushed back.
TAPPER: I don’t know if I agree with you to be fair, with all due respect, one doesn’t have to be brilliant to attempt a coup.
Bolton’s response was jaw-dropping.
BOLTON: I disagree with that. As somebody who has helped plan coup d’êtat, not here, but other places, it takes a lot of work. And that’s not what he did.
With this massive bomb, Bolton managed to reveal more truth than he intended. Truths that many of us have suspected for a while. Bolton effectively destroys the narrative that January 6 was an insurrection, let alone an actual coup. This is the narrative that the legacy media has carefully crafted, nurtured, fed, and now is shoving down Americans’ throats, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Then Bolton just casually admits to having engineered color revolutions—he made sure that you knew it wasn’t in the United States, mind you; but some of us can draw our own conclusions, as Bolton encouraged later on in his assessment.
BOLTON: It was just stumbling around from one idea to another. Ultimately he did unleash the rioters at the Capitol. As to that, there’s no doubt. But not to overthrow the Constitution, to buy more time to throw the matter back to the states to try and redo the issue. And if you don’t believe that, you’re gonna overreact. And I think that’s a real risk for the Committee, which has done a lot of good work, mostly when the witnesses are testifying, not when the members are opining. It is invariably the case that when you go too far trying to prove your case, you undermine it.
Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Bolton is on fire and he didn’t even realize how much. Tapper, too full of his own self-importance, just had his lunch handed to him.
In the legacy media’s push to keep elevating this J-6 Commission, with its ridiculous testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson and grandstanding by the egregious Liz Cheney, they are doing nothing more than reinforcing the fact that there is no there, there. The January 6 Commission has no interest in discovering how an “insurrection” occurred on their watch; they are only interested in destroying Trump and preventing him from running for office ever again.
Bolton concluded with this:
BOLTON: And I think you gotta give credit to the intelligence of the American people to listen to the witnesses, and let them come to the conclusion. I think the fella who had actually gone into the Capitol who said today that he had blinders on and he was too loyal to one person, that is the central point.
Icing on the cake. They have to kill that loyalty to Trump and to MAGA at all costs, and by any means necessary.
With the work this Joke-6 Commission is doing in toppling their own house of cards, Steve Bannon’s testimony is looking to be epic.
Getting the popcorn ready.
