Project Veritas just released another undercover interview showing that ideas inspired by critical race theory (CRT) are still being taught in Georgia schools despite a law prohibiting the teachings. In the video, an education professional admits to helping teachers infuse these radical far-leftist ideas into their classrooms in a way that subverts the law.

Over the past three years, parents have become increasingly concerned about the material being taught to their children in K-12 classrooms. CRT was one of several issues being brought to the forefront. Georgia, along with other red states, passed legislation to prevent the teaching of problematic ideas on race issues in America, arguing that educators were teaching children to judge one another by their skin color.

In the video, Teaching Lab Director Dr. Quinton Bostic is seen boasting about helping school districts get around the state’s ban on teaching elements of CRT in the classroom via the curriculum he created. He sells this curriculum to various districts.

Having lost his teaching license around 2017, he now works for Teaching Lab, a nonprofit organization focusing on education, as a content manager. The organization has a $15 million budget which is used to develop more “equitable” curriculums.”

The Project Veritas journalist remarked on how Bostic has persuaded districts to buy his curriculum.

“And they don’t even know what’s going on,” Bostic responded. “I would say that I’m a good salesman, but I’m also an evil salesman. Like, so bad.”

“So the state is basically paying for your curriculum without knowing what’s in it,” the journalist said.

Bostic answered in the affirmative. He explained that Fulton and Cobb counties are currently using his curriculum, which is tailored to kindergarten students.

“When the state pays for your stuff, they don’t know that critical race theory is in it,” the journalist commented.

“Right, of course, they don’t know, they don’t know. I mean, so basically it just goes right into the account,” Bostic replied.

When asked about the legality of teaching CRT in the classroom, Bostic explained that “If you don’t say the word ‘critical race theory,’ you can technically teach it.”

“And people don’t know what critical race theory is. So when they see the word, alarm goes off. But if you teach the principles of it people are like ‘Of course,'” he continued.

Bostic also revealed that he coaches teachers “behind the scenes” on how to apply the curriculum in the classroom in a way that does not raise any red flags.

He explained that he conceals the critical race theory in the material by calling it Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work. This has been one of the more common ways for school districts to impart ideas related to CRT after the national backlash occurred in response to the revelations about what was being taught in classrooms. By calling it DEI, they can continue teaching the same concepts, just under different packaging.

Bostic also slammed parents, saying they are “ignorant” and said that one of his goals is to “get kids to influence their parents to make the shift too.”

This is not the first time it has been revealed that woke individuals in the education field are finding ways to subvert state laws against progressive ideas in the classroom. Last year, I wrote about an Accuracy in Media report in which school officials in different states admitted to continuing to teach the material even after it was banned.

The reality is that legislation at the state level can only do so much. The solution to this issue should also involve the right people being elected on school boards because they are closer to the issue than state legislators. Fortunately, this is already starting to happen.

School choice is also a critical component of the solution. Allowing parents to choose how and where their children are educated will empower them to shield their kids from institutions seeking to indoctrinate them. Of course, homeschooling is the most surefire way to make sure your children are growing up with your values.

I also have to note that if it were up to me, the government would be out of education altogether. Public schools have been indoctrinating children since before critical race theory was a thing. Indeed, America’s school system was originally designed for the purposes of churning out compliant workers who would not even think to question authority – especially coming from the government. But while we are pushing towards a better learning environment, we must ensure we are fighting smart.
