For a party that claims to be the women looking out for women, the Democrats sure are doing a lot to erase them in favor of some transgender agenda.
While you can see a demonstration a day, the latest came from Democrat Senator Megan Hunt of Nebraska who describes herself as a "bi queen" on X. Her Majesty decided to take aim at Riley Gaines, former University of Kentucky champion swimmer turned warrior for women's sports who, like many, is sick to death of the treatment female athletes are receiving at the hands of the transgender activist community.
But going after Gaines was a mistake, as Hunt soon learned.
It all started with an article by the Lincoln Journal Star discussing Gaines's "crusade" against the transgender intrusion into women's sports. Gaines is painted as a typical right-wing speaker who appears at events "marked by Christian faith and patriotic fervor":
Riley Gaines, who swam for the University of Kentucky, tied the issue of transgender women in women's sports to an array of other issues in America. She also said transgender women try to join sororities and seek to be housed in women's prisons, with the goal of having access to women.
She decried "the changing of the language that we use, the silencing, the denying of objective truth, biblical truth. The breakdown of our faith, the breakdown of the nuclear family, the breakdown of our freedoms, such as freedom of speech and other freedoms, talking about the (COVID) vaccine. Notice how they want to take the guns.
This attracted the attention of Hunt, whose reaction to Gaines was tone-deaf, and shortsighted, and demonstrates perfectly how Democrats actually feel about women.
"It can be hard, when we're young, to not win a trophy sometimes. But we grow up and realize it’s not the end of the world and we don't need to turn that loss into our entire personality," Hunt posted on X.
It was obviously an attack on Gaines, accusing the athlete of using Lia Thomas's intrusion into her sport and the privacy of her locker room into an obsession she can't shake.
Gaines, never one to take unfair treatment lying down, had a picture-perfect response.
"Imagine missing the point this much lol It's not about the trophy & never has been," replied Gianes. "That trophy is meaningless & devalued entirely. It's about the message it sends to us. & it's the same message you're sending...that we don't matter. Nebraska girls deserve better than you."

Gaines's response here highlights exactly what the issue is with the forced inclusion of transgender-identifying people into women's spaces and the Democrats that are doing the forcing.
Putting a man into a woman's sport and then basing wins, records, and performance on his numbers makes women's sports completely meaningless. Men are physically more powerful than women as a general rule, and if men are driving the standard and the records then there are no women's sports, it's just men's sports, albeit filled with less capable men when compared to real men's sports.
At that point, winning a trophy meant for women makes the trophy worthless. It's not for women if it can be given to a man.
What Democrats are pushing isn't "inclusion," it's just more erasure of women. As Gaines says, it sends the message that girls and women don't matter and that they should shut up and take men forcing their way into their sports, private spaces, locker rooms, activities, and social circles.
It's a societal "lay back and let it happen" from Democrats, and it's disgusting.
