Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarkey.
In this dedicated episode I will not be looking at instances of media screwups or general activities across the news outlets, but instead will look at the general health of the industry. It is not well. The problems are not only apparent but they seem to be spreading. Layoffs, money troubles, audience flight, and other factors have corrupted the news landscape, yet few seem actually interested in addressing the core problems.
I start with a curiosity found outside of D.C., where the beleaguered Baltimore Sun has a new buyer looking to rejuvenate the troubled paper, yet many are upset because the buyer is conservative.
I also point out labor strife taking place at the Los Angeles Times, Sports Illustrated is on the verge of folding, and the Washington Post has been shown to have truly dire internal numbers about its overall health.
There are severe challenges out there, but who is looking into these seriously? These are the same people intent on gaslighting us on the health of the national economy as their own industry shows nothing but drastic issues. It is a sign of what is leading to these very challenges.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media mayhem and malpractice.

The Baltimore Sun was saved by billionaire David D. Smith.
The staff and former writers have been deeply opposed to Smith saving the paper that has been foundering under its current format.
Apparently, conservatives keeping newspapers alive is considered a bad thing.
The Los Angeles Times workers felt it was a brilliant idea to strike ahead of layoffs.
The Washington Post has seen ghastly traffic numbers over the past few years.
Sports Illustrated may be on the way out as it lays off most of its staff.
The layoffs across the media spectrum in 2023 were rather severe.
