Reince Priebus: Thanks to the Left's Craziness, Christmas May Come in November

On Sunday, I covered Republican senatorial candidate Josh Hawley’s appearance on Meet the Press, during which he said this month’s left-wing Kavanaugh madness is gonna serve Republicans well in November.

Check out that article, along with the whole bunch of links chronicling the lead-up to the midterms.

Hawley and I aren’t alone in our suspicion that the Left has once again served as its own worst enemy. Guesting on New York’s Am 970 The Answer yesterday, former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus told host John Catsimatidis that Kavanaugh Chaos has psyched-up right-leaning voters, and they’re gonna be showing up like it’s going outta style on election day:

“Something incredible has happened over the last couple of weeks. And that’s called the ‘Kavanaugh Effect’ on Republican voters. Republicans were at like a six. They were happy with the economy. They were happy with the wins that we had. But they weren’t at the level where they had to be. Well, now they are at a 10.”

Still, he said, it’s anyone’s ballgame:

“I think it’s a coin flip. I think it’s anyone’s guess.”

According to Reince, it’ll take more than mere gratitude to sweep V-Day:

“The economy is so strong. But thank-you votes in midterms usually don’t cut it. It’s usually something else that inspires voters in a midterm.“

Well, the Left acted like it needed to be taken away in a straitjacket over Brett, so I’d say there’s a fairly powerful “something else.”

Dems need to gain 23 seats to conquer the House, and a CNN poll just days ago showed them with a 13-point lead.

However, surveys also placed Hillary Clinton in the 2017 White House.

Personally, I’d bet on Democratic disappointment. But who knows what’ll happen over the next few weeks? Perhaps Barack Obama will come out as transgender to support women in light of the SCOTUS confirmation; maybe Alyssa Milano will announce her 2020 candidacy, with the part of her who #BelievesAllWomen running for president and the part of her that loves Bill Clinton vying for VP (here); for all we know, Antifa will ransack the Supreme Court before being supernaturally defeated by its most natural mortal enemy, the dictionary (here and here). Chelsea Handler, Madonna, and Ashley Judd may burn “A is for Abortion” in the White House lawn with the feminist Russian terrorist’s crotch bleach (here). Or Peter Fonda might attempt to fulfill his perverted fantasy by trying to cage Baron Trump (pleeeease see here).

A whole lot could happen, and a whole lot just may. So get your popcorn, folks, and sit back. It’s likely to be a wild, wild show.
