Hunter Biden Forced to Drop Bogus IRS Lawsuit

Now that befuddled old Joe Biden doesn't have the power of the presidency to shield his ne'er-do-well son anymore, it seems that there is a steady drip, drip, drip of bad news for the frustrated artist Hunter. First, his art career appears to have trailed off, now that there is no more influence to be bought by the expedient of buying a Hunter Biden daub. Then, there's just all that interesting stuff that keeps coming off the infamous Hunter Biden laptop.

Now, poor, poor Hunter has been forced to drop a sham lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service.

We informed Congress, which promptly demanded from Biden’s legal team all of their back channel communications with the government.

Abbe Lowell was forced to cough them up to Congress, opening he and Chris Clark’s surreptitious retaliation against the IRS whistleblowers up to the light of public scrutiny.

The communications also begged the question of why Hunter Biden wasn’t following the legal process IF he truly believed his tax privacy had been violated. (Which it hadn’t.) Boxed into a corner, Hunter Biden filed a sloppily-assembled lawsuit against the IRS just four days later. It was nothing but further reprisal against Shapley and Ziegler, and gave the IRS its own further tool to retaliate against them too.

But Hunter Biden couldn’t continue the sham lawsuit forever. So now that the time finally came to have to argue his allegations before a judge—Hunter Biden is dropping the suit.

And we thought the Clintons were corrupt! The Biden family has engaged in bribery and graft on a cosmic scale. What's more, they seem to be pretty shameless, engaging in shenanigans that would make Huey Long blush in embarrassment. Between Hunter's bogus Burisma deal, his "art" that mysteriously sold for six figures despite being something that a middle school art teacher would have hidden in the janitor's closet, and all the other ways and means in which Joe used his son to launder bribe money; the list just goes on and on.

I would almost wonder if Hunter's serial drug use and dalliances with "professional" (as in, the world's oldest) companionship were out of some sense of shame over all the corruption - but, then, he is a Biden, after all. And if there is one thing the Bidens all seem to have in common, it's utter shamelessness. As evidence, I point out the last months of the Weekend at Bernie's presidency, in which they all kept baffled old Joe propped up so they could keep the gravy train running just a bit longer.

Here's the question: When is Hunter going to be called to account? Who is looking into possible criminal penalties? I'm willing to concede that, a hundred days into what may be the transformative presidency of the 21st century, Congress has a lot more important things on its plates than looking into the Biden family's corruption, and old Joe himself, the Biden patriarch, has all the wit and vigor of a traffic cone these days. Even if some direct action were taken against him, it's questionable if he'd even notice.

But does that mean Hunter is going to just walk away from this, unscathed and still considerably richer than he was? This can't happen. Hunter was, after all, the recipient of a very generous and very pre-emptive pardon from his father/the autopen.

Even so, there has to be some price for this kind of naked, unapologetic corruption.
