The New Mexico Tesla and GOP HQ Arsonist Has Been Busted, and He's a Real Piece of... Work

The man accused of planning and carrying out arson attacks against New Mexico Republican headquarters and a Tesla dealership is under arrest. The FBI, on Monday, took to X to announce the arrest of one Jamison Wagner, 40, of Albuquerque. And this Wagner looks the part.

Albuquerque's local KOB4 television has this report:

Yes, Jamison Wagner does appear to be wearing purple lipstick in his booking photo. And he faces serious charges; United States Attorney General Pam Bondi is planning to provide Wagner with a new wardrobe consisting entirely of orange coveralls.

Jamison Wagner, 40, of Albuquerque, was charged with two counts of malicious damage or destruction of property by fire or explosives on Monday. He will remain in custody pending a detention hearing that is scheduled for Wednesday, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison per count.

“Let this be the final lesson to those taking part in this ongoing wave of political violence,” Attorney General Pamela Bondi said in a statement. “We will arrest you, we will prosecute you, and we will not negotiate. Crimes have consequences.”

Wagner’s attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.

Wouldn't federal terrorism charges be warranted here? This seems to fit the definition exactly: An act of violence carried out to intimidate, to threaten, to forward a political agenda. That's what terrorism is.

And then there's this:

Wagner is a registered Democrat, according to state election records, who has voted consistently in recent statewide elections. Wagner has a profile on a queer scientists group that states he was pursuing an electrical engineering master’s degree and had been interning for a national laboratory.

You don't say. A queer scientist's group. Wow. Just... wow.

And, one more time, we see a far-left nutbar carrying out an actual act of politically-motivated violence. Oh, sure, all through the four years of the Biden administration, we heard the constant drumbeat of how the nation's greatest terror threat was "white supremacy," as though there were a white-hooded KKK member with a torch in one hand and an old tire in the other around every corner. But somehow, those "white supremacist, white male terrorists" never seemed to materialize. That's presented a stumper for the left, who are still having to point at the January 6th, 2021 hooliganism as an example of "white supremacist terror."

They are strangely quiet about the 2020 "Summer of Love," which saw actual, no kidding insurrection; leftist agitators actually took over part of a city, including a police station, setting up what they claimed was an autonomous territory that was in fact run by an armed thug and his minions.

Now they are attacking Tesla drivers - and setting fires to Tesla dealerships. This guy, at least, has been caught and will face trial. And from the looks of him, if convicted, he won't have a good time in prison; there aren't many "queer scientists" in the crossbars.

I guess Mr. Wagner really did take that far-left turn at Albuquerque.
