If there's a better object lesson in the dangers of illegal immigration "sanctuary" jurisdictions today, I sure haven't seen it yet.
In Manhattan this week, a boy was allegedly stalked, attacked, and raped by a 30-year-old illegal immigrant from Columbia - who is also a "transgender woman." The perp, one Nicol Suarez, is currently in jail at Rikers Island.
A migrant transgender woman wanted by federal immigration officials allegedly stalked and raped a boy in Manhattan this week, The Post has learned.
Nicol Suarez allegedly followed the 14-year-old into the bathroom at Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem Tuesday and attacked him, police and sources said.
The boy then left the bathroom and flagged down witnesses, who alerted police, the sources said.

Let's clarify some language here; this person is:
1) Not a migrant. He is an illegal alien.
2) Not a woman, "transgender" or otherwise. He is a man. The odds that this person suffers from gender dysphoria are essentially zero.
This is a man, we might add, with an Immigrations & Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer on him - which was ignored by the "sanctuary" jurisdictions through which he moved, according to the exclusive NY Post story linked above.
Suarez, 30, who is originally from Colombia, was arrested nearby the following day and charged with first-degree rape.
Suarez was wanted in New Jersey and Massachusetts at the time, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had a detainer on her, a law enforcement source said.
The nature of the out-of-state charges wasn’t immediately available.
Here's the onion:
The case shows why the city should end its sanctuary city status for dangerous criminals, a source said.
“It just goes to show that Donald Trump and [border czar] Tom Homan are correct that you need to get the violent people out of New York City and Eric Adams, Letitia James and Kathy Hochul should all cooperate because this person has an ICE detainer,” the source said.
“ICE could just pick this person up and deport them back,” the source said. “But due to our sanctuary laws we can’t do anything.”
The first layer of this stinker is that this illegal, who had clearly had other run-ins with the law, should have been repatriated back to Colombia long ago, but wasn't, because he (no doubt deliberately) stayed in those sanctuary states and cities, knowing his immigration status wouldn't be questioned and the ICE detainer would be ignored.
The second layer is that this isn't just a well-intentioned dude up here to "make a better life for his family." This is a criminal, and now, allegedly, a sex offender and a pedophile. The attack on a 14-year-old boy in Manhattan, an attack that could scar that boy for life, happened because of the mushy-headed "sanctuary" policies of New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
We have had a few too many examples of the dangers of sanctuary jurisdictions lately; at least in this one, nobody died. This remains, though, one of the main campaign issues during 2024; it was one of the primary reasons President Trump was elected, and that's why this entire notion of ignoring our nation's immigration laws has to end.
Not for the left, though. This illegal alien, "transgender woman" perp, who escaped deportation thanks to "sanctuary" jurisdiction, is an alleged pedophile. He's hit the trifecta -- and I will be mildly surprised if some Democrats don't want him canonized.
