Donald Trump, it seems, still isn't tired of winning. Earlier on Thursday, we saw the notorious Fulton County, GA District Attorney Fani Willis disqualified from her case prosecuting President-elect Trump; the disqualification was over multiple conflicts of interest. When the news broke, my colleague Bonchie wrote:
No doubt, the Trump team is happy with this development. Not only is it a big legal win, but it is a big PR win as well. It provides evidence for everything they've said about Willis and her corruption. That could go a long way to seeing this prosecution scuttled in some form or fashion.
As is often the case, Bonchie was correct; the Trump team is happy, and the President-elect has spoken to Fox News Digital on the matter.
President-elect Trump reacted to the Georgia Court of Appeals decision to disqualify "corrupt" Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her team, telling Fox News Digital that the case "is entirely dead" and that the "wonderful patriots who have been caught up in this for years" should "receive an apology."
While the President-elect may claim this case is "entirely dead," it isn't dead dead - it's only mostly dead. But, that may well be enough.
The court did not toss the indictment but declared that Willis and her team now have "no authority to proceed.
In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Trump said the "whole case has been a disgrace to justice.
"It was started by the Biden DOJ as an attack on his political opponent, Donald Trump," he said, "They used anyone and anybody, and she has been disqualified, and her boyfriend has been disqualified, and they stole funds and went on trips.
Trump said the case "should not be allowed to go any further."
That decision hasn't been made yet, not as of this writing, but to a non-lawyer type, it's hard to see a way forward for this case.

NEW: Fani Willis Was Just Officially Disqualified From the Prosecution of Donald Trump
It's remarkable what winning an election can do. The President-elect's lawfare woes seem to now be evaporating. His transition plans are popular, with polls showing Americans approving of the Trump team by a double-digit margin. Over at ABC News, George Stephanopoulos has not only been embarrassed but may be facing unemployment as part of that network's settlement of the President-elect's lawsuit. Trump has been meeting with world leaders, laying plans, putting pressure on all the right people, and the American people seem to be pretty satisfied that (so far) we're getting what we voted for.
And he isn't even officially in office yet.
A Trump spokesman released a statement as well:
Trump spokesman and incoming White House communications director Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital that "in granting President Trump an overwhelming mandate, the American people have demanded an immediate end to the political weaponization of our justice system and a swift dismissal of all the Witch Hunts against him."
"We look forward to uniting our country as President Trump Makes America Great Again," Cheung said.
It seems President Trump isn't yet tired of winning, and he hasn't even taken office.
