Really, the "progressive" wing of the Democratic party should be having commemorative coins struck for this... person. Not only is Paul J. Gavenonis apparently a "progressive" Democrat voter, not only is he "transgender" and using female pronouns, but he has also issued death threats aimed at Donald Trump - and ended up in the hoosegow over it.

Paul J. Gavenonis, 74, who uses female pronouns, was detained after she was allegedly overheard making the remarks while trying to obtain a parking pass at Penn State University.

Gavenonis declared, 'I hate Donald Trump, I'd like to shoot that guy' according to police, who say she also mimed a 'racking gun motion' with her hands, the Lexington Herald Leader reports.

Gavenonis has been charged with misdemeanor counts of terror threats and disorderly conduct.

She was reported by the clerk who issued the parking pass after Gavenonis described climbing to the top of a building and said 'you can't take a gun in or the students will see it'.

It's enough to make one wonder if Paul Gavenonis has ever joked about having a bomb while going through the TSA checkpoint at the airport. Seriously, who's judgment is so horribly bad to make statements like this? But then, he is a Democrat.

But wait! There's more!

Penn state police and the Secret Service interviewed Gavenonis after the incident was reported.

During the interview, she reportedly laughed and joked about targeting Trump at the rally, even saying: 'Frankly, I hope somebody would get him', according to police.

She was booked in to Centre County Correctional Facility on Friday pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Wednesday.

And that, folks, is the best place for this... person.

Why is it, that all these threats, all these outright attempts, have come from the left? I'd bet cash money that Paul Gavenonis would be in favor of draconian gun control laws, but here he is, making shooting threats aimed at (yes, I know) a former and likely future president of the United States. 

The left likes to claim that those of us on the far right - by which they mean anyone to the right of Pol Pot - are violent, gun-crazed lunatics. They yap about America's "gun culture." I guess my collection of pre-64 Winchesters and Belgian Brownings puts me in that grouping. They claim that it is us, not criminals, who are responsible for violent crime in this country.

But it's funny, isn't it, how every person who has made a threat, or an actual attempt, on the life of a presidential candidate in recent history is a creature of the left?

Granted, it's more than likely Paul Gavenonis was just blowing some temperature-amplified gaseous emissions. But such statements have to be taken seriously, by the Secret Service and by the American people. But then, when we have had months upon months of the left calling Trump a Nazi, a racist, a homophobe, a transphobe, and an anything-the-left-approves-of-phobe, it's small wonder that these nuts are coming out of the woodwork.

In six days we should know who is going to be president in January. If it's Trump - and that's looking likely - watch for more kooks like Paul Gavenonis to emerge.
