It's difficult indeed to imagine the pain Alexis Nungaray is undergoing. Her 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, was abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered - by two reputed Venezuelan gang members who were in the country illegally, having been apprehended at the border - and released into the United States. This was a heinous crime, the worst ordeal any parent could be put through, and the worst part is that it was not only completely preventable - but that it was directly due to the border policies of the Harris/Biden administration.

Now the Trump campaign has released an ad featuring Alexis Nungaray speaking about her daughter Jocelyn, the horror the family has endured, and the causes of their pain. I warn you - it's heartbreaking.

Full disclosure: As many of you know, I'm the father of four daughters. I also have three granddaughters - and three grandsons. I take great pride in being a person of reason, of logic, of dispassionate analysis; a rational man, and a thinker, not a feeler. But not in this case - not so much. The fact that this happened to Jocelyn Nungaray, an innocent girl - a child - fills me with a rage that's hard to contain. I can't imagine what it must be like for Jocelyn's parents.

With that said, it's hard to overstate how effective this ad is. If one is a parent, and after watching that ad one hasn't had border security driven to the top of their critical issues of the day list, then there's something wrong - seriously wrong. This isn't just a failure of policy, it's the failure of the Harris/Biden administration to fulfill the primary role of government - to protect the liberty and property of the citizens.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of illegal aliens, have flooded into the country under the Biden administration. Indeed, the administration has not only allowed their entry, but in many cases, it has facilitated their entry, including direct flights into the United States.

And once more: We don't know who many of these young unattached men are, why they are here, where they intend to go, or what they intend to do. We do know that two of them encountered Jocelyn Nungaray and committed an atrocity.

This has to stop. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, through inaction, through callous disregard, allowed the two monsters that murdered Jocelyn Nungaray into the country. Their policies compelled the Border Patrol, who apprehended these goblins at the border, to release them into the United States. Now Jocelyn Nungaray has paid the price for those policies, and her family will forever live with the pain of her absence, and with the horror of knowing the ordeal she went through before her murder.

This must not be allowed to stand. Vote. Vote as though the republic depends upon it - because it does. And millions of children, children like Jocelyn Nungaray, depend on it as well.
