Yup, it is true. CNN ratings are cratering just about the same way as the luxury ocean liner did back in 1912 but without the cheesy Celine Dion song playing in the background.

From the first example above from my colleague Brandon Morse, it seems that the very people who work at CNN are sick of the nonsense that the leadership has allowed.

The CNN insider took aim at the anchor for allegedly invoking “cancel culture” while urging his brother to stay firm in combatting the misconduct claims.

“To say it’s ‘cancel culture’ – it’s despicable,” the insider told Fox News.

The CNN insider slammed what was perceived as a double standard of the “Cuomo Prime Time” anchor to avoid covering his scandals in recent months after inviting the governor onto his show as a hero of the coronavirus pandemic.

“It’s the height of hypocrisy for Chris to have [his brother] on there for the good news but doesn’t have him on to discuss the bad news,” the insider said. “It’s laughable for him to be so judgmental of other people for their wrongdoings and he’s sitting there enabling and coming up with excuses for someone with sexual misconduct allegations.”

So I guess it should come as no surprise to anyone who does not look at the world without the assistance of WOKE glasses, that CNN might be experiencing a bit of a rating decline since President Mean Tweets left office on January 20th. When you don’t have your boogeyman to scream about all day to rile up your mouthbreathing sycophants, they find other things to do.

Ratings from Neilsen Media Research reported Tuesday indicated that CNN lost 67% of its total viewers since January, when Donald Trump left the White House.

During the primetime hours of 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (EST), CNN lost around 65% of its total viewers since January. In the critical 25-54 age demographic, the network lost 71% of its viewers for both the day and primetime.

CNN’s drop in viewers is larger than its competitors, but all major cable news shows have experienced a drop. MSNBC had the second-largest drop in viewership since January, losing 49% of its total viewership between January and May. In the 25-54 age demographic, the network lost 63% of its viewers. During primetime hours, MSNBC lost 42% of its total viewers and 58% of viewers between the ages of 25 and 54.

If my public school math is still working in my noggin I think if you take 67% total and 65% in primetime and round it up, you get almost a SEVENTY PERCENT DROP in viewers in both categories. How in the hell does that happen?

How Jeff Zucker can sit by and allow this festering turd of a programing schedule to continue and still have a job is one of the seven wonders of the world. Yet it once again shows that lefties are willing to bulldoze through almost anything to achieve their goals of victory, however, they define it. Maybe people not watching CNN is a victory for them? I know it is for me.

Generally, corporate media is about earning money for the shareholders and I can’t see how ad revenue is going to flourish when the people purchasing time on your network can see the viewership drop. They might not want to pay as much dough to air those ads with fewer eyeballs watching.

All networks had a drop in viewership since January (Fox had a 12% drop overall) so there is some burnout naturally. Yet the massive loss over at CNN is something to behold and amazing to watch. Well, actually not watch, being a lot of you aren’t.

So cue the band on the deck of the S.S. CNN and get ready for this ship to go under. Donald Trump always seems to get the last laugh with these clowns and I bet he will be reveling in the sinking of the network that gave Jim Acosta a platform from which to spew.

Hopefully, James Cameron does a movie on this like he did the real ship — and the iceberg this time are the Cuomo brothers.
