Why is the A.G. taking this course of action? According to the Detroit News…

On Nov. 25, the six Michigan Republicans, represented in part by conservative attorney Sidney Powell, filed their lawsuit asking for “emergency relief,” including a court order requiring Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to sign off on certified election results that state “President Donald Trump is the winner of the election.”

Detroit U.S. District Court Judge Linda Parker rejected the push on Dec. 7. The suit seemed “less about achieving the relief” the GOP plaintiffs sought and “more about the impact of their allegations on people’s faith in the democratic process and their trust in our government,” Parker wrote.

Davis’s motion cited a section of U.S. Code that allows a judge to require attorneys to pay “excess costs, expenses and attorney’s fees” for conduct that “multiplies the proceedings in any case unreasonably and vexatiously.”

The overall gist here is that the attorneys that were claiming that there was fraud in the election here in Michigan were lying. That claim of course has not been proven in court and the very notion of preventing a campaign from filing grievances in this or any future election is a Pandora’s box that should not be opened.

Yet Democrats always seem to be the first to jump on avenues not used before and they are SHOCKED when later down the line those same tactics are used against them. As a quick reminder, Harry Reid changing the rules to nominate judges, or President Obama using his pen and phone bypassing Congress.

Investigators HAVE FOUND ballots that should have been disqualified here, so saying that there is no fraud is pure nonsense. However, the second part of that has the cheating been found in sufficient quantity to change the outcome of Joe Biden’s victory and the answer is no. Yet there have been court challenges and orders to prevent investigators from examining evidence and in the six weeks since the election.

Remember, the Democrats never accepted that Donald Trump won in 2016 and immediately launched the Russia conspiracy theories that took two and a half years and almost 50 million dollars to find that… the Trump campaign never colluded with the Russians. Now we are not even two months into this and sanctions are being threatened by the top law enforcement official in this state against those that are using the courts to legitimately question the results in a peaceful manner.

Not a great plan and the GOP might want to try this one day. Pandora’s boxes are never closed once opened.
