Only 21 Days Until the Iowa Caucuses, Where Do the Democrats Still Running Stand?

We are getting close to crunch time and that means some Presidential hopefuls got crunched.

As my colleague, Bonchie noted earlier in his piece about Cory Booker becoming an ex-candidate, the field is thinning quickly as we are now 21 days away from the first anything in the nation with the Iowa caucuses.

Currently, there are still TWELVE Democrats running for the nomination of their party. Actually eleven but we count Bernie Sanders being as he could not win as an Independent and he is just using the party to do this. Which is eerily similar to how all socialists use things and discard them when no longer useful.

Of those twelve, the only ones who have any type of shot of winning and rolling into New Hampshire on a high are…

*Joe Biden

*Elizabeth Warren

*Bernie Sanders

*Pete Buttigieg

The two billionaires running are not in contention here. As I wrote here yesterday, Mike Bloomberg is focusing on Super Tuesday and Tom Steyer is not having any effect with his climate first campaign.

The other six running are doing it still so they can say they made it past Iowa and point and snicker at Booker and Harris. Plus you get the fancy title after your name that says, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Former Presidential Candidate. You know that means the world to these people.

Bonus points…can you name the other six running? Neither could I and you don’t care enough to look either.

The Democratic National Committee has no doubt been whispering in the ears of those who had some money left but no shot to drop so they can tighten this field long before South Carolina rolls around. Bloomberg has already said he would spend ONE BILLION of his own money and there is no doubt Steyer could do the same. The longer you have a large field the more mayhem can ensue and that only helps the guy sitting in the Oval Office right now.

Some guy named Donald J. Trump.
