Principles First? More Like Relevance Last As 'Never Trump' Summit Crashes and Burns

The only "principle" the Never Trump crowd seems to be standing for these days is losing—and they do it loudly, embarrassingly, and oh-so-publicly.

HOT TAKES: Social Media Reactions to Joy Reid's Oh-So-Deserved MSNBC Firing Are Priceless

The reality is that Reid used her show “The ReidOut” to provoke, incite, cause division, and race-bait, and I don’t believe a single American is better off for having watched her.

WATCH: Ilhan Omar Goes on Wild Rant, Calls Americans 'Idiots' Who Shouldn't Be 'Allowed' to Have Views

Omar is a symptom of a far bigger problem within the Democratic Party, which has grown hopelessly arrogant bathing in its excesses.

Franklin Arms Notches Massive Win Over ATF

My hope is that Bondi doesn't push this one any farther. There's no point in doing so because the case is just way too similar to Cargill, where the ATF lost before the Supreme Court. It would be a doomed cause and a waste of taxpayer money.

Maine Governor Janet Mills Already FO After Her FA with Donald Trump on Friday

Janet Mills will lose this fight. She will cave at some point.

Oops! I Think the NYT Just Said the Quiet Part About Deportation Out Loud

They only see them all as potential voters for the Democrat Party, images to guilt other people into becoming potential voters for the Democrat Party, and/or cheap labor so they don't have to mow their own lawns or fill their own hand soap dispensers. And it's absolutely disgusting.

It's a full day for President Donald Trump, as he and French President Manuel Macron kick things off with a G7 leader summit call, followed by a bilateral meeting and lunch. In the afternoon, the two will hold a joint press conference.

Vice President JD Vance ran away with the CPAC straw poll for 2028 presidential contenders over the weekend.

Full Court Press...

Oral arguments are back in action at the Supreme Court this week. Monday's docket contains only one case: Gutierrez v. Saenz, which has to do with Article III standing.

New York Mayor Eric Adams' case remains in a bit of limbo following some...unusual decisions by the judge overseeing the case. His attorneys have now pointed to statements made by Attorney General Pam Bondi and her chief of staff, which further call into question the continued prosecution of Adams.

COMING ATTRACTIONS

There are additional oral arguments before the Supreme Court on Tuesday and Wednesday. We're also likely to see a vote in the House on the proposed budget resolution. And I expect we'll see the straggler confirmation votes before too long.

MORNING MUSING

Going to keep this one short and sweet this morning, as yours truly completed the 13-hour return trip from D.C. to St. Louis at 11:30 Sunday night, only to awake to the surefire signs she managed to contract the CPAC Plague (stuffy head, scratchy throat) once again. Coffee is helping but can only do so much. Plague or no, 'twas a great trip and a reminder of what a blessing it is to work with this crew.
