Despite the Easter recess, there is, in fact, one hearing scheduled for Thursday, though not on the Hill. The House Oversight and Accountability Committee is hosting a field hearing titled “A Burden to Business: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Assessment of Administrative Fees” at Lake Cumberland State Resort Park in Jamestown, Kentucky.
Also, a nod to former senator and vice-presidential candidate Joe Lieberman, who, by all accounts, was a genuinely nice man and decent human being. Rest in peace, Sir.

As I scrolled through Twitter Wednesday morning, I saw there was some discussion surrounding Culver's. I never could quite figure out what set things off — there was one discussion that had to do with which restaurant chains "support Israel" by the pro-Hamas crowd; then there was another about the announcement by the Tampa Bay Rays about their new "Curds in the Third" promotion.
