Powerful New Dave McCormick Ad Ripping Kamala Harris on Border Crisis Hits 'Em Right Where It Hurts

Not quite a week ago, and hot on the heels of Joe Biden ~~being forced out~~ announcing he was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race, Pennsylvania Republican Senate nominee Dave McCormick released a hard-hitting campaign ad that tied his opponent, Sen. Bob Casey Jr., to Vice President Kamala Harris' record, leaving no stone unturned in the process.

It dropped receipts galore on the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's far-left record on issues like crime, illegal immigration, energy policy, and even meat consumption, and made an effective case that if people were troubled by President Biden's positions on the issues they were going to be even more disturbed by hers.

While the ad provided a solid blueprint for how other Republicans in down-ballot races should portray their opponents, another one released this week by the McCormick campaign is equally as devastating, ripping Harris for her border crisis positions and numerous failures, and noting that Bob Casey shares similar views as well.

Polls including one from mid-July have consistently shown that a majority of the American people do indeed view what's happening at the border as a crisis, with the blame being put squarely on Biden.

But as more voters get to know Kamala Harris in the coming weeks and months, her extensive role as Biden's border czar is going to take center stage and in fact has already started to thanks in part to the McCormick ad and others like it, and thanks to the media's purported fact-checking arms doing their thing to absolve her of any wrongdoing on the issue.

Try as they might, though, Harris and her fellow Democrats will not be able to run away from their disastrous record, which has unfortunately produced a long list of victims who might be alive today had the border crisis been effectively managed by people other than a political party that values and prioritizes wokeness and pandering for votes over the safety and security of the American people:

RedState's Jennifer Oliver O'Connell has also documented Harris' troubling legacy on the southern border front, providing a refresher on some of the more infamous cases including Kate Steinle's from 2015:

After being released from prison in San Francisco, Lopez-Sanchez obtained a loaded pistol and somehow aimed it at 32-year-old Kate Steinle, killing her.
