Lori Lightfoot Tries Tangling With Lauren Boebert on ‘Call to Arms’ Tweet With Disastrous Results

The incendiary rhetoric that is coming from the radical left in response to the recently-leaked draft majority opinion written by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito on how “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled” just keeps getting worse, with the Biden White House now even encouraging left-wing agitators to break the law by continuing to “protest” in front the homes of conservative Supreme Court Justices in a clear effort to scare and intimidate them.

But perhaps none has been worse than what came from Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot late Monday night when America’s worst mayor, a Democrat, took to the Twitter machine to openly issue a “call to arms” to her “friends in the LGBTQ+ community”:

To my friends in the LGBTQ+ community—the Supreme Court is coming for us next. This moment has to be a call to arms.

In a tweet that came right after it, Lightfoot used the words “fight” twice, which we were reliably told during the Democrat-led impeachment hearings against then-President Donald Trump in January 2021 equated to (in so many words) “inciting an insurrection”:

Lightfoot was responding to the panicked claims that are being made by others on the left, without evidence, that next on the SCOTUS Justices’ list after the Mississippi pro-life law case ruling will be LGBTQ rights.

Considering for the last 16 months that Democrats and their media allies have yelled “insurrection!” every chance they get during debates on what was said and was not said and what did and did not happen during the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot, it was a rather interesting not to mention unambiguously dangerous choice of words on Lightfoot’s part, so much so that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) was one of the many using the left’s (and her) own words against her.

“Insurrectionist,” Boebert tweeted in response while following up in another tweet by calling Lightfoot out on her city’s violent crime rate.

“While people are being slain in her streets on a daily basis, all she can worry about is endangering more lives with her reckless words. Shame on her. She should resign,” Boebert wrote.

Several hours later, Lightfoot returned to Twitter and while she didn’t address the tweet calling on her to resign, she did try tangling with Boebert over her other assertion – that she was an insurrectionist.

“Excuse me. Insurrection is your thing. Not ours,” Lightfoot proclaimed to Boebert.

As I write this, Lightfoot’s reply is getting ratio’d like crazy, with hundreds of conservative Twitter users pointing out how the phrase “call to arms” leaves nothing open to interpretation considering a “call to arms” is literally a call to take up weapons against your opposition.

And as Lightfoot continues to get schooled on her deliberate choice of words, we eagerly await word on where the Twitter Powers That Be stand on inflammatory words posted on their platform by a prominent Democratic leader that can easily be construed as an incitement to violence. Remember, Donald Trump was banned two days after the Capitol riot for what he tweeted though his words were not even remotely close to where Lightfoot went.

Maybe Twitter will get around to addressing Lightfoot’s insurrectiony type post once they stop suspending conservative Twitter accounts for calling out their refusal to suspend left-wing accounts over exactly the types of tweets “leaders” like Lightfoot like to post.
