Halloween is fast approaching, but for Democrats, masks are being ripped off from the east coast to the west coast as the so-called “education party” reveals the ugliness within and tells us how they really feel about parental involvement in their children’s education.
Exhibit A on this matter would be Virginia gubernatorial nominee Terry McAuliffe, whose campaign has imploded in the aftermath him saying the quiet part out loud during his last debate with Republican nominee Glenn Youngkin on how “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” Since that time, McAuliffe has repeatedly doubled down on his admission while also insinuating parents who are concerned about the implementation of Critical Race Theory in classrooms are “racists.”
Exhibit B on this issue would be the Biden administration, including the President himself as well as Attorney General Merrick Garland, who as we all now know issued, in response to an NSBA letter urging him to get the feds involved in investigating supposed “domestic terrorist” parents, a concerning “memo” earlier this month that directed the FBI to, in concert with each U.S. Attorney, “convene meetings with federal, state, [and] local” officials “within 30 days of the issuance” of the memo in order to “facilitate the discussion of strategies for addressing threats against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff, and will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment, and response.”
There are many more examples of Democrats revealing themselves and of course with the mainstream media doing what they always do by obediently doing the radical left’s dirty work for them.
The latest example of Democrats showing their true colors on how they feel about parents who take active roles in their children’s education comes from Democrats in the Connecticut State Senate, who tweeted out this cartoon of parents dressed up as “murderous, psychotic, horror movie villains” as one Twitter user put it, no doubt in order to lovingly express their tolerance and commitment to respecting diversity and differing viewpoints on the issues:

Just in case they delete it, I snagged a screengrab of it.
Media critic and New Jersey resident Joe Concha responded by noting that he knew a lot of parents in the state who “simply” wanted to be able to voice their opinions on public classroom curriculums:
Know plenty of parents in Connecticut who simply want input on what their children are taught. For state Democrats to make parents the enemy is political suicide. https://t.co/Tr8TMT2st4

Agreed. Quite frankly, all this has got me to thinking that the Democrat war on parents could be the 2022 midterms version of “Defund the Police” for them and could prove disastrous in terms of trying to maintain their razor-thin hold on the House.
As it stands now, the polls don’t look good for them nor Biden. With that in mind, you’d think they’d be smart enough to at least pretend like they care about what parents have to say here. But instead, they’re ripping those masks off at a rapid-fire pace, letting us know that they’re sick of the constraints they put on them.
That’s fine, in my view, because I’ve always believed that it’s best to only judge the full measure of a person, and Democrats sure have given us plenty of opportunities to do just that in recent weeks, haven’t they?
