Earlier this week, Democratic vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton joined up with Saturday Night Live’s Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph for a Biden-Harris campaign virtual fundraiser and to chit chat about the important stuff like what it’s like for Poehler and Rudolph to play Clinton and Harris on SNL.
One of the questions Poehler asked during the fundraiser was on how the failed 2016 Democratic presidential nominee planned to vote. Here’s how Clinton answered:
“Well, you know, my plan is to vote early, as soon as that’s available in my state of New York. I want to go to the nearest place, wearing my mask, and being prepared to vote. I just want everybody to have a plan, and I hope that everybody does because we desperately need you. If you’re worried about voting in person, to vote by mail but get that ballot in early.”

When I saw this video (courtesy of our sister site Twitchy), that little record player needle scratching sound buzzed in my head.
Isn’t Hillary Clinton one of the many, many Democrats including presidential nominee Joe Biden who have repeatedly warned us over the last several months of the “dangers” of in-person voting and how everything should be mail-in with ballots mass mailed to everyone at this point?
Why, yes. Yes they are. My RS colleague Brad Slager covered this very thing a couple of days ago after Biden and his wife Jill both did in-person early voting in Delaware:
Joe and Jill showing up in person to vote flies directly against the months spent by Democrats declaring this practice is far too dangerous for anyone to engage in, during the command that mail-in voting is a required variable this election.
That Joe, who the campaign loves to have remaining ensconced in his home, did not make a video filling out a ballot from the safety of his coffee table, but went physically to cast a vote, completely dismantles the entire Democrat mail-in-vote narrative. If the 77 year old in the Covid prime risk category can safely vote this is no longer an issue.
Bingo. And the same rule applies to Hillary Clinton, who will no doubt be participating in in-person voting alongside her husband and former President Bill Clinton, who is also high risk.
There is also this:
Zeke Emanuel, a doctor and former Obama admin official says in person voting is about as safe as going to the grocery story. He warns Dems: "If the consequence of us not talking about it is that turnout is low, that's a bad thing." https://t.co/He8r5IwCdA

If we had a truly impartial and objective mainstream media, a much bigger deal would be being made right now about how the Bidens, Hillary Clinton, and a former Obama administration official have completely undercut Democratic arguments about how states must move to mail-in voting only for this election due to the pandemic concerns. Not to mention Drs. Fauci and Birx have both said in-person voting can be safe provided the necessary safety precautions are put in place.
Not a single voting system in any state needed to be “updated” to accommodate mass mailings of mail-in ballots for this election. But they were – primarily due to Democratic and media virtue signaling about how elections “should be safe” and how Republicans allegedly wanted to “kill grandma” at the ballot box by taking away her right to mail in her ballot.
We know now just as we knew then that their arguments didn’t hold water, and were just an excuse to put a structure in place that would make it easier for ballot fraud to take place.
Whether the fraud happens on a small scale or not is not the point. In close elections, mailed-in ballots can be the ultimate decider. Democrats (especially those in California) know this well.
As Attorney General Bill Barr pointed out in his Monday interview with Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass:
“[Democrats] are creating an incendiary situation where there will be loss of confidence in the vote.”
“Someone will say the president just won Nevada. ‘Oh, wait a minute! We just discovered 100,000 ballots! Every vote will be counted!’ Yeah, but we don’t know where these freaking votes came from,” Barr said…
Seems like we go through this in almost every election cycle, with heavily Democratic counties in some states being the last to report their results just in case. If the presidential election ends up being close with the deciding state (or county) being a blue one that takes ages to process and “find” or lose ballots, expect the Trump campaign’s legal team to wage all-out legal warfare, as well they should.
