From the start of Trump’s presidency, Democrats and Never Trumpers alike (but I repeat myself) have tried six ways to Sunday to have him impeached, arrested, or otherwise thrown out of the office because they didn’t like the results of the 2016 elections.
You’d think with this being an actual election year and all the 24-7 media bashing of the Trump administration’s handling of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, that they’d finally be content with letting the process play out as it should – with the American people deciding at the ballot box this fall instead of Congresscritters ousting Trump any other way.
But of course that’s not how they think because that would mean trusting voters to make the call, and oh no – we cannot have that.
The latest example of a Never Trumper fantasizing over possible non-election ways Trump might be removed from office is Bill “conserving conservatism” Kristol, who is apparently excited over reports about the number of people close to Trump and Vice President Pence who have recently been diagnosed with the Wuhan coronavirus. Clearly, Kristol sees it as an opportunity to install someone in the White House who is committed to making conservatism great again or something:
Straightforward from here:
* President Trump has to self-quarantine due to possible exposure to coronavirus, can’t fulfill duties of presidency in quarantine, steps down.
* VP Pence has to self-quarantine, can’t fulfill duties of vice presidency, steps down.
* President Pelosi.😉— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) May 9, 2020
Eww. Twitter users responded accordingly and appropriately:

OK, Bill. We get it, cause you've told us, over and over and over, you hate Trump. No problem. Knock yourself out. But, when you choose President Pelosi over President Pence, you have gone so deeply into the valley of self parody, that you need to take a minute and heal.

Bill Kristol illustrates here that he is a grifter. At first I thought he had lost his fucking mind, the I thought he was just trolling, then I realized that he has no core beliefs other than the traditional pundit class con of claiming to have principles.

I’d say those last two tweets sum up things rather perfectly about what’s left of the entire Never Trump lot.
