In an early morning post on Truth Social, President Trump announced he was making a significant move to show solidarity with DOGE chief and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

As boycotts of Tesla have been undertaken and worse, violent leftists have attacked dealerships with guns and firebombs, the president made clear his support for Musk as he continues risking everything to improve government efficiency and, by extension and through his various endeavors, the lives of everyday Americans.

Trump also urged conservatives to show their support, saying Musk is “putting it on the line in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!"

The president ripped the "Radical Left Lunatics" for trying to destroy Tesla, which he describes as "Elon’s baby."

As such, Trump announced this morning that he will buy a brand new Tesla in solidarity with Musk and his mission.

"Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN?" Trump demanded to know.

Trump's show of support comes as the left continues to smear the billionaire philanthropist because of his association with the president and his desire to eliminate fraud and waste — two of the Democrats' favorite things — in the federal government.

Worse than smearing him, attacks on Tesla dealerships have been ongoing nationwide. In Seattle over the weekend, four Tesla Cybertrucks were set ablaze. 

Thus far, authorities have not committed to calling the Seattle fires arson, but the matter is under investigation.

Meanwhile, police in Oregon are working with the FBI to investigate after a Tesla dealership there was riddled with bullets. Again, that investigation has not yielded a conclusive determination of intent, but authorities there said they "are aware that other Tesla dealerships have been targeted across Oregon and the nation for political reasons."

That incident came a week after someone tossed a Molotov cocktail into another dealership in Salem, Oregon.

Even beyond these attacks on his Tesla dealerships, Musk's X suffered a massive cyberattack on Monday that appears to still affect the social media platform this morning.

In an interview with Fox Business on Monday, Musk seemed rather distraught over the attacks he's endured since siding with the president and becoming a key figure in DOGE.

Interviewer Larry Kudlow asked Musk how he is managing other businesses while simultaneously trying to save the country from bankruptcy, to which he replied, "With great difficulty."

The head of SpaceX then paused for a rather lengthy moment as he collected his thoughts before letting out an audible sigh.

Americans should support Elon Musk as President Trump has. His push to slash government waste through DOGE could lighten the tax load and boost economic vitality for all people.

The reason leftists are going after Tesla is not simply because it's his "baby." It's because the company is a symbol of his proven cost-cutting success.

They don't want that. Liberals want the waste and fraud to continue unabated. It's their "baby."
