The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a complete redesign of the Biden-era CBP One App, converting it to CBP Home, an application designed to assist illegal immigrants in finding their way home through self-deportation. 

The smartphone app was not new to the Biden administration, but the CBP One app was expanded significantly under the previous president and was used for scheduling asylum appointments.

Former Biden White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki touted the virtues of the application as a “telephonic” method to “track” illegal immigrants as they awaited court proceedings. Some of those court proceedings were scheduled years down the line, however, and judging by the number of "gotaways" over the course of Biden's term, it didn't do a very good job of tracking anything.

DHS, rather than ditching CBP One altogether, has decided to turn lemons into lemonade. They've overhauled the software in a manner that turns it into a tool to help illegal aliens self-deport.

Absolutely brilliant.

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melugin reported on the controversial app's redesign and explained its operation.

"The new app allows illegal aliens and migrants in the US to register with CBP to self-deport. They fill out biographical information, including their countries of citizenship, which country they plan to return to, their alien registration numbers, contact information, and it allows them to upload photos of themselves to confirm their identity," he revealed on X.

"All of it is then submitted to CBP, and they leave the country."

Rather than acting like the monsters the media portrays the Trump Team to be, they have created a new app that will allow illegals to self-deport, which will open up a future path to coming back to the United States legally.

Look, you broke the law coming over the southern and northern borders under a weak and feckless previous President, but now, if you repatriate yourself to your country of origin, we'll give you a chance to do things the right way. Seems reasonable by any measure.

If you don't? Well, that'll be the end of your stay in the United States - permanently.

"The CBP Home App gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream. If they don’t, we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return," DHS Secretary Kristi Noem told Fox News.

RedState managing editor Jennifer Van Laar reported that within hours of President Trump's inauguration, the CBP One App was already being altered from an app that allowed nearly a million illegal aliens to enter the United States to one that would not allow these aliens to "essentially receive blanket humanitarian parole."

The media swiftly found illegals who had hoped to use the app by exploiting their tears.

"The Biden Administration exploited the CBP One App to allow more than 1 million aliens to illegally enter the United States," Noem explained. "With the launching of the CBP Home App, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system."

Integrity and the immigration system. It's been a very long time since we saw those words used together to describe handling the chaos at our previously open border.

Recent data shows a sharp decline in the number of border crossings in February. Pretty soon, there might not be a need for the app at all.

Thanks to President Trump, illegal immigration into our great country has virtually stopped. Despite the radical left's lies, new legislation wasn't needed to secure our border, just a new president.
