I’ve posted the primary remaining raison d’etre of the Postmodern Progressive is to form a tribe, deprive others of their property and live off the proceeds. This works until the proceeds no longer take you very far. The Democratic Party in Maryland is a mad and hung-over band of Visigoths that just got repelled during the 2014 raiding season. As is often the case in these situations, they have now decided to conduct an internal bloodletting to cull a few weak members from the herd. What the Postmodern American Progressive has devolved into follows below.

From Baltimore to Jerusalem It’s the Same Game. In 10 years Chris Van Hollen and Ben Cardin sent 1.2 billion dollars of Maryland Federal taxpayer money to the Apartheid state of Israel to build schools, roads and other infrastructure while saying Maryland doesn’t have the money to help develop our communities.

You see African-American Democrat and perspective US Senate Candidate [mc_name name=’Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’E000290′ ] is running against Democratic Mob Member cum [mc_name name=’Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’V000128′ ] in the Primary Election to decide who defends one Maryland’s two US Senate seats in 2016. This seat is probably going to at least start the cycle with a Safe Democrat political rating.*

African-American Marylanders have voted in droves for Democrats for several decades. They are getting increasingly tired of voting for White Democratic candidates for national office. This tension surfaced in the 2006 Democratic Senate Primary when White Congressman Ben Cardin barely defeated African American Congressman Kweisi Mfume to win the party nomination.

Well now there are fewer perches of power for Maryland Democrats and they are getting genuinely nasty in fighting it out over what is left. They are therefore turning the mob against another enemy. If you can’t give people what you promised them, you can distract them by having them go burn a few Jews. If Liberal Progressive leaders can’t make Baltimore, MD livable with their typical menu of policy options, you can scapegoat before the issue ever shows up in an election.

As we saw last week with the Freddie Gray riots in Charm City, the people have about had it. They may not be sure of what they’ve had it with, but the frustration meter is well in the red. As the ideological dreams of the Left become nightmares for those foolish enough to elect them into positions of professional responsibility, we can expect to hear more about the protocols of the nefarious Israel Lobby. After all, every INGSOC needs a good, handy Goldstein.
