So the current Director of the CIA, John Brennan, has just admitted that he had the agency spying on members of Congress*. Senators Udall, Heinrich and Paul have requested his head in a charger a la John The Baptist. President Obama has described John Brennan as having “taken responsible steps” to address the supposedly rogue behavior of these CIA Agents. This reaction isn’t a reaction. It’s acceptance. It’s a sign that Mr. Brennan can get every dollar of his bonus this year. He just needs to remember who he works for, keep his mouth shut, and chew gum when he’s told to munch, If he keeps the omerta, he keeps his spot on the gravy train. It’s a far, far cry from what Barack Obama’s Cultists worshipped back in 2008. Mark Morford describes his idol below.

Many spiritually advanced people I know (not coweringly religious, mind you, but deeply spiritual) identify Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve.

Ahh, but something went awry on the way to that glorious singularity. We’ve gone from connecting and engaging to making d— well sure that Luca Brasi slept with the fishes. We’ve gone from a new way of being on the planet to Lois Lerner being sicced on President Obama’s ideological opponents like an attack ferret on Nazi Crank. Lerner’s views were reminiscent of what The Reverend Jim Jones thought of Congressional scrutiny being directed at The People’s Temple. We have this from one of her emails that the IRS has recently “just found.”

“Great. Maybe we are through if there are that many __holes.” She followed up with another message saying: “So we don’t need to worry about alien teRrorists [sic]. It’s our own crazies that will take us down.”

You are either part of the family with this administration or you are one of them. If you disagree with their views, you are a terrorist. Dissent used to be the highest form of patriotism. We are now at war with Eastasia instead. Whistleblowers; The Obama Administration doesn’t need no stinkin’ whistleblowers. Just ask Paula Pedene what happens if you tell the outside world the truth about what happens in a VA Hospital.

Pedene, 56, is the former chief spokeswoman for this VA hospital. Now, she is living in a bureaucrat’s urban legend. After complaining to higher-ups about mismanagement at this hospital, she has been reassigned — indefinitely — to a desk in the basement. In the Phoenix case, investigators are still trying to determine whether Pedene was punished because of her earlier complaints. If she is, that would make her part of a long, ugly tradition in the federal bureaucracy — workers sent to a cubicle in exile.

So you would think this sort of obvious thug behavior would lead to consequences. You’d also be one dumb, freakin’ Jabroni. They aren’t going to be consequences. The Family has this one covered. Gleen Reynolds explains how Eric Holder has become a man of respect – a veritable Capo Regime’.

Congress can, of course, charge Brennan with contempt of Congress, or refer him for prosecution under the False Statements Act. But in both cases, the decision to prosecute would be made by Attorney General Eric Holder, who seems to see his role not as administering justice, but as running interference for the Obama administration and protecting its officials from consequences. (Holder himself has already been held in contempt of Congress for stonewalling an investigation into ATF gun-running to Mexican drug gangs). Likewise, Sen. Udall’s call for a criminal investigation of the CIA will go nowhere so long as Holder continues to play scandal-goalie.

So you can’t impeach your buddy Barack. He won’t know you anymore if you do something unfashionable like that. Barry’s a humble public servant. He just wants to get along. You show him proper respect, he does you a couple of favors, you tell Papa “Thank you very much.” Just keep the omerta, hes not askin’ too much.

*-Perhaps that explains how Dzhokar Tsarneav could set up shop as a terrorist in Boston, MA without scrutiny. The agents were a wee tad busy.
