As we wrote earlier, the Senate Finance Committee held a confirmation hearing for Secretary of Health and Human Services nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday.
He did well, despite the manic reactions from some of the Democrats like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who managed to have the whole internet laughing at him when he flipped out on Kennedy about baby onesies. It was a wild attack, and Kennedy laughed at him, as did Megyn Kelly--who was sitting behind RFK Jr.--and much of the internet when they saw it.

He had to think that Democratic politicians weren't listening, because he had a similar experience with Sen. Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM), where the senator appeared to be concentrating more on attacking than listening to his answers. But just like with Sanders, that led to an embarrassing place. Lujan asked Kennedy if he was going to cut Medicaid. Trump has repeatedly said he isn't going to cut Medicaid; RFK Jr. replied that Trump hadn't told him to do that, saying, "He's told me to make it better."

Despite the fact that the answer was clear, Lujan asked again whether Kennedy supports cutting Medicaid, yes or no. Kennedy repeated his answer.
Lujan then asked, “If President Trump asks you to cut Medicaid, will you do it?”
Kennedy then leveled him and had the audience laughing, “Oh, it’s not up to me to cut Medicaid. It would be up to Congress.”
Then Lujan said if Kennedy didn't want to answer, he'd move on. Kennedy sort of laughed in disbelief at the line of attack. Others in the audience laughed at Lujan as well. That apparently upset Lujan so much he asked the Chairman of the Committee, Sen. Mike Crapo (R-ID) to instruct the audience to stop. Crapo went along with it, but here's a thought. How about Lujan not keep acting like the nominee didn't answer the question and treat him with respect, if you want respect from people as well? Talk about being thin-skinned, if Lujan can't take a little laughter at his line of attack.
Looks like Megyn Kelly was laughing at Lujan just like she laughed at Bernie Sanders.

Democrats seem to have real trouble just being straight in the questioning. And no, Sen. Lujan, you weren't just asking questions. You were attacking, but Kennedy embarrassed you with reality.
Democrats have been pushing this nonsense-- even more over the past couple of days--over Trump's executive order to freeze aid, pending review. But that order specifically did not include any individual assistance like Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP, etc.

That didn't stop the Democrats from lying their heads off about it and trying to whip up fear. But at this point, the American people know that Democrats and their acolytes in the media have a credibility problem.
Lujan did not help himself with the nonsensical attack on Kennedy; he embarrassed himself and looked a bit like a baby in the process.
