Jon Stewart Destroys Dem Outrage Over Madison Square Garden Rally Comedian

We wrote about how some on the left were losing their minds over a joke told by a comedian at President Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden. They had already gone over the edge claiming just being at the Garden was somehow a re-enactment of a Nazi rally.

The comedian joked about Puerto Rico being a "floating island of garbage." Now Democrats, because many of them are racist, thought that was racist. But indeed, he was joking about the garbage/landfill problem in Puerto Rico that has existed for a while, which the media has reported on, but no one has done anything about. He knew about it because he frequently visits the island. How about Biden and Harris actually address that issue?

The polls also haven't helped them as they show that Latinos are still moving towards Trump in greater numbers than ever before, and that can make a big difference in some of the swing states. It's a simple reason, too — because Trump has policies that are better for all people.

Now, Jon Stewart is definitely in the Democrat camp. And, of course, he's always going off about Trump, and he did again in regard to the rally.

But even he saw an issue with the way that Democrats and their acolytes in the media were dealing with the question of the comedian. He referenced attacks from multiple media outlets calling Hinchcliffe's remarks racist or otherwise offensive. But he explained Hinchcliffe is a roast comedian — that he mocks everyone because that's what a roast comedian does.

He said, “Obviously, in retrospect, having a roast comedian come to a political rally a week before Election Day and roasting a key voting demographic is probably not the best decision by the campaign politically."

But he noted that "To be fair," he's "just doing what he does," and he finds the guy "very funny."

Then he threw a great finishing barb at the Harris campaign.

“Bringing him to a rally and having him not do roast jokes, that’d be like bringing Beyoncé to a rally and having her…" Then he stopped and hung his head, not finishing. He then looked up and smiled.

I have to say that was pretty good. That was a reference to Kamala Harris pulling a bait and switch to get people out to her Houston rally by having Beyoncé there to pump up the numbers, but then Beyoncé didn't sing, which ticked off a lot of the people who had come. Media had run stories indicating she was going to perform, and that likely turned a lot of people off.

Not exactly the best thing to do to potential supporters and I wonder how many got so ticked off they now won't vote for her.
