'Absolutely Priceless': The Looks on the Faces of the Biden Team When Joe Confuses Kamala and Trump

It was certainly a barnburner of a press conference.

Joe Biden was angry that he was being challenged about running again. He was defensive and gaffing left and right, particularly when he confused Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. He actually claimed that Trump was his vice president.

"I wouldn't have picked Vice President Trump to be Vice President 'cause [I think that's the word he said here] I think she was not qualified to be President," Biden said. Um, Joe? You got not only the person but the sex wrong there.

Former President Donald Trump immediately "pounced" on it, having a great time with the thought.

At this point, after all the Democrats have done to him, Trump must be having a great time watching this implosion that is helping increase his chances. If Trump were vice president, then I think that would be even more reason to invoke the 25th Amendment against Biden.

But perhaps the best reaction of them all was the look on the faces of the Biden officials when he said that in real-time. Check out their expressions, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

I have to admit I rolled it back a few times to focus on each of their faces and it was something else. Jake Sullivan looked like he was about to cry. Blinken looked very pained. Austin blinked and looked down, trying to hold it together.

Priceless.

These people have known he has issues and they should have come forward before this, so I don't feel sorry at all for it all blowing up on them now. They deserve anything they're having to face now as they try to deal with all this.

But that wasn't all. A reporter asked Biden at the end of the conference about what he said and told him that Trump was now mocking him about it. The reporter asked him what did he think about that? "How do you combat that criticism?" he asked. Biden's answer was bizarre:

REPORTER: You referred to VP Harris as "VP Trump." Right now, Trump is using that to mock you. How do you combat that criticism from tonight?

BIDEN: "Listen to him!"

"Listen to him!" Biden said. Listen to him saying that you're completely messed up? Really? Okay.

Maybe not exactly the best response. But that's where we are at with Joe at this point. It's just a mess.
