As we reported, Joe Biden is in New York for a fundraiser on Thursday with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to try to pull down a lot of cash for his campaign. He needs their help convincing people to support his beleaguered candidacy because he's so unpopular at this point. They're throwing everything up against the wall to try to help him. 

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump is behaving like a president. Instead of going to a campaign event, he attended the wake for NYPD officer Jonathan Diller and spoke with the family. He reportedly had called Diller's widow on Wednesday.

Obama Headlines a Star-Studded Biden Fundraiser and Worries About Trump Victory

That's what Biden should have been doing to show his priorities. He did end up showing where he stands -- just not in a good way -- by continuing on with his fundraiser. 

Biden's team also demonstrated their lack of transparency and how much they are trying to cover up on his behalf as Biden and Obama were in transit to New York City. Listen as White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre flips out that the reporters might report on the conversations.

"Off the record! Off the record! Off the record!" Karine Jean-Pierre instructs the press as the audio stream begins aboard AF1.

"Off the record! Off the record! Off the record!" Karine Jean-Pierre insisted. 

Obama sort of teases them with, "How's it goin' everybody?" as the audio was then cut off. 

So what were they trying to hide? What didn't they want to be reported? Were there Obama instructions/scoldings going on that they didn't want to get out lest it look like Obama was telling Biden what to do? Do they not want to feed into that perception that some have already that Obama is the one pulling the strings behind the scenes? 

They made Barack Obama go down the short stairs because they had to have Joe Biden going down them, given his propensity to trip.

According to Fox News, they were going to charge people $100,000 to get a picture with Biden, Obama, and Clinton. Seriously?

These are the elitists that want to hold onto power, they think that's what their pictures are worth. All they care about is that you give them money to elect Biden when he's made such a mess of the country. But you're not allowed the transparency of hearing what they say. 

Expensive failure, and lack of transparency -- those words describe Democrats in a nutshell. 

Meanwhile, Biden has still not even spoken to the family of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller. 

Just shameful.
