Joe Biden was in North Carolina on Tuesday for campaign events. His team is so concentrated on the election, they couldn't even bring themselves to shift gears and realize maybe their priorities should be to have him go to Baltimore and the bridge collapse. That shows you their priorities as well as how desperate they must be at this point.

They even sent White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to call into a radio program. She appeared on WBT radio in Charlotte, North Carolina, with Mark Garrison. He then played his interview on Brett Winterble's show. Now, I get that Biden may have staff that comment to the media when they're traveling with him, but the first problem I had with the interview was that her responses smacked of campaigning.

The second was how hilarious it was that she couldn't deal with them asking her a couple of real questions. First, they asked her about Joe's dementia. This may be the first time any media person has put it to her that bluntly. The host explained how a number of people had asked him to ask her about it. It's all over social media and a big concern of the American public. It's something they all should be asking about. 

But she just flipped out. She couldn't handle it, "Mark, I can't even believe you're asking me this question. That is an incredibly offensive question to ask." She claimed he was "focused on the American people." She termed the question "insulting" and wouldn't talk about it further.  

No, what's insulting is how they're always trying to gaslight us over it and pretend like everything is normal. And she did that again during the radio interview, saying people should just watch him every day, like she does. I do, and it seems like it gets worse every day. Everyone else can see it, too. 

Garrison also asked about the high grocery and gas prices as well, another big problem question for Joe Biden. 

KJP said that Biden "understands" because he grew up in a "middle-class, working-class" family. She claimed the economy was in a "tailspin" when they came in because of former President Donald Trump.

[T]the economy was in a tailspin because of the last administration, because of what President Trump left us with, now you're asking about gas prices. The president took action on gas prices. Let's not forget, the Russian invasion of Ukraine skyrocketed prices of gas, and because the president took action we are in a different place than we were a year ago on gas prices. Eggs, milk, seafood products, all the important groceries -- those prices have gone down because of what this president has been able to do. 

Um, no, gas prices were averaging at $2.34 and inflation was 1.4 percent under Trump. Under Biden, at their height, gas prices averaged over $5.00, and inflation hit a record high of over nine percent. Everything cost more under Biden, including eggs, milk, and "all the important groceries." It was Biden that drove gas prices up, not the Russian invasion. It was his profligate spending that kicked it off. All he seems to have done in response is rob our Strategic Petroleum Reserve rather than change his bad policies to deal with the issues. 

Then, after KJP spread a lot of bull, she said "Thank you" and hung up on him. 

He was astonished that she hung up on him, as was Winterble when he listened to the interview. Garrison said they had planned more time with her. Winterble said he couldn't believe how "fragile" she was. Garrison further noted that KJP referred him to the doctor's evaluation of Biden, but that doesn't deal with his mental state, only his physical state. To pretend this wasn't an issue was "fundamentally dishonest," Winterble believed. Garrison said nearly half the Democrats in the state were worried about Biden's mental state. 

They can't control the media anymore and they can't keep the truth down, and that's a great thing.
