I think Kamala Harris and her husband might be starting a tradition of making bad holiday posts.
Who can forget this infamous winner about how she was making dinner in her apron on Mother's Day?
First, there were creases in the apron, making it clear that the apron was brand new and she had just opened it up to sell the whole image. That's so Kamala — all about trying to sell you an image and Venn diagrams.
Also, what husband is making his wife cook on Mother's Day? I thought that's the day you're supposed to give mothers a rest and the day off? Apparently not.
But this year, Harris posted her Thanksgiving photo with her husband, Doug Emhoff, and it had everyone talking. It looked like it was posed, and people had dropped off the food — like there hadn't been a lot of cooking going on because of how clean the kitchen was.
But that wasn't the main thing people were talking about. What really got people going was what was in the background of the picture.
From our family to yours, happy Thanksgiving. pic.twitter.com/Nhifx0sHi5

Oh, no, it's one of those wicked gas stoves the Biden administration has been scolding us about!
Did Kamala not get the memo to be down with the narrative? Does that mean she's trying to kill us all with the evil stove? And what danger she's putting herself, her husband, and the other members of her family in! For shame! What is she thinking?
We've written before about how the Biden administration wants to go after our gas stoves and has been demonizing them. My colleague Jennifer Oliver O'Connell did a good breakdown of some of the discussion and some of the problems that would result, including crippling some industries if they ever made such a move. But that seemingly doesn't enter their calculus when they push these things.
But isn't that so like the Biden team? Rules for thee but not for me. They're constantly preaching at us, and then we see all the ways that they violate the "rules" and are so hypocritical. The "oceans are rising' -- that's why Barack Obama bought beachfront homes in Martha's Vineyard and Hawaii. Climate crisis is an existential threat to humanity, Joe Biden tells us, as he flies to other countries to say it and tools around in a motorcade with dozens of vehicles. I could go on and on, but you get the drift. They can do anything; you can't. Because it's all about control.
Rep. Mike Collins (R-GA) and many others leveled that hypocrisy with a few questions for Kamala. But don't expect any response. They don't feel that they have to explain any of the hypocrisy that's constantly on display.
Is that a gas stove? 🧐 https://t.co/ElwpYe8kql
