Joe Biden held a meeting of his "Cancer Cabinet" on Wednesday. The Cancer Cabinet is supposed to be working on efforts to combat cancer.
But one of the things that was very evident about the meeting was how halting, old, and slow Biden appeared to be. He was just supposed to be reading introductory remarks. Yet still, he had some trouble, struggling through it with some confusion and missed words.
You can see some of that here, as Biden attempted to talk about dealing with "underserved communities."

Joe rambled, "And ensure that each— we reach the historical underserved communities. Historically unde— there's a lot of underserved communities. A matter of fact, we may, my work on trying to move on the environment and global warming. There was a lot of fence line communities that we are cleaning up. That's why I committed to 40 percent of all the savings was going to go to those communities. " Huh?
If they wonder why Biden's polls keep going down, this is why. People see this every day, and that's why most Americans don't want him to run again.
What was Jill Biden doing there? Jill Biden was there as a co-chair; she seemed to also be acting as a handler for Joe. She may have given Joe an elbow nudge and leaned in to stare at his speech while he was rambling. What was quite striking was, after Joe finished, Jill tried to assure him he had done well, much as one would do for a child or an elderly person who was not mentally well and needed assurances.
JOE BIDEN: "And with that, I'll turn it over to Jill."

JILL BIDEN, ED.D.: "You did good things, Joe. Ha ha ha." pic.twitter.com/ZtcNPVcs6l
"You did good things," she assured him, patting his back, and then thanked him with exaggerated formality. Who's running things here? It doesn't look like Joe.
Is there any wonder his staff might treat him like a baby, when they see Jill treating him this way?
Fox's Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about it last week.
"President Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history. Why does White House staff treat him like a baby?" Fox News' Peter Doocy asked Jean-Pierre during the daily White House press briefing.
"No one treats the president of the United States, the commander in chief, like a baby. That's ridiculous. It's a ridiculous claim," Jean-Pierre responded.
Jean-Pierre might want to check with Jill on that because that's what it looks like to most people. Not to mention, it always seems like the staff is telling Biden what to do and having to save his bacon when he starts rambling on. Or when he says something crazy -- as we saw in Vietnam when they pulled the plug on the press conference that went off the rails with him insulting the Southern Hemisphere, then talking about going to bed and dog-faced pony soldiers.
But after Jill also made some brief remarks, longer than Joe's remarks, the staff tossed the media out of the room. The press tried to get in some questions about the impeachment inquiry and the probe into his son, but Biden just sat there looking blank and not responding.

It's getting worse if she has to act like this, and everyone involved should be ashamed of themselves for putting the country in this danger.
