When Joe Biden came into office, he and Kamala Harris did all they could to sweep away the successful policies President Donald Trump had put in place, particularly when it came to protecting the border.

Biden was such a petty, small person, that he started undoing Tump’s border security program on his first day occupying the Oval Office. He didn’t even finish the parts of the wall that Trump had ready to go, where the material was already delivered to the border. Instead, as I wrote in October 2021, he paid millions a day NOT to have the wall finished The $2 billion project and the materials obtained for it sat and lay fallow, as a flood of illegal aliens streamed across the border. He also canceled contracts for that construction, instead reallocating the money to environmental projects — including “biological, cultural, and natural resource surveys” in the border region.

That’s just a couple of the petty things the Biden administration has done to reverse Trump-era policies, making the border situation so much worse. But they don’t care about the defense of the border. Their first duty is supposed to be the defense of the nation. However, all they care about is their political power, and attacking their opponents. There’s nothing that proves that more than a video of Kamala Harris from 2018 and what she said about Trump deploying troops to the border at the time. Now Trump was deploying them not to help himself in an election, like Joe Biden but to make the border more secure and he succeeded. Then Biden came in and messed it all up again. But let’s listen to what Kamala says because it’s pure gold when you consider the Biden team’s decision on Tuesday to send troops to the border.

Harris claims that she thinks the troops were deployed “based on a political agenda.” Do tell us more, please.

“I believe that it is inappropriate to require the limited resources of the United States military to be used in such a way when…those folks that are deployed that are going to leave…they’re going to neglect their families. They will not be home, it looks like, for Thanksgiving…all because there needed to be some demonstration for the TV cameras based on a political agenda, instead of what is a national security threat.”

Could there be a more accurate description of the Biden move Tuesday and any better self-own than this? If he cared about the “national security threat” he made far worse, he would have done something about it before he declared for re-election, as Trump did. Yet Biden didn’t, which tells you everything about the difference in approach. The Biden team denied there even was a problem right up to Monday, with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lying about illegal immigration going down 90 percent. Yet suddenly they pull troops out of the hat? This is like the move to swipe from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve — pretend that they’re doing something to help with the vote while not doing anything that truly solves the underlying problems.

If the media doesn’t lean all over them for this hypocrisy, they should all give up their jobs.
