As we reported earlier, Joe Biden met with Saudi officials on Friday, including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS). Biden had previously claimed that he would not be meeting with MBS.

Biden then gave some remarks after the meeting, and took a few questions.
As we noted, Biden got a lot of criticism for not only meeting with him but also fist bumping him on the way into the meeting.
Biden claimed that he raised the issue of Jamal Khashoggi with MBS, and that he told him he thought he was responsible. Biden said MBS claimed he wasn’t.
Biden was asked by a reporter during the presser about that criticism over the fist bump; The reporter was told that Khashoggi’s wife had said that any further murder would now be on him. He said that would meet the same response. What response? Just accusing MBS of being a murderer?
A reporter asked him how he could guarantee there wouldn’t be another murder. In response, Biden laughed, and fired back at the reporter calling it a “silly question.”
"You're coming under a lot of fire for your fist bump with the [Saudi] crown prince."
BIDEN: *laughs*
"How can you be sure that another murder…won't happen again?"

So, here’s a thing. When you’re being asked about taking murder seriously, maybe don’t laugh in response? It sort of proves the point. And he just can’t take being challenged on anything, without getting snippy with a reporter yet again.
Biden continued by saying he couldn’t predict anything that might go on, anywhere in the world.
BIDEN: "Can I predict anything's going to happen? Let alone here, let alone any other part of the world? No."
We can tell. pic.twitter.com/aVJRCIPhFL

Yes, we know. That’s why he’s been wrong at everything for going on fifty years now.
During the presser, Biden listed several items that had been discussed, but when it got to the question of increasing oil production to help the prices in the United States, he suddenly got very cagey, not saying specifically what had been achieved or agreed upon.
After going to Saudi Arabia to beg them for more oil, Joe Biden says it will "begin shortly."

“We had a good discussion on ensuring global energy security and adequate oil supplies to support global economic growth,” Biden said. “That will begin shortly. And…I’m doing all I can to increase the supply for the United States of America, which I expect to happen. The Saudis share that urgency and based on our discussions today, I expect we’ll see further steps in the coming weeks.”
Translate that empty, deceptive word salad? He wants us to think they achieved something, but as we said, there’s nothing new that’s going to happen right now. He’s just hoping they’ll somehow come up with something in the future. That’s just as we reported would happen earlier.
Joe Biden brags "there's been a real change" in gas prices.
The national average for gas is still $2.18/gallon HIGHER than when Biden took office. pic.twitter.com/GHFjbYxzlg

Biden tried to claim there had been a real change on gas prices, but they’re still far higher under Biden than when he came into office.
Biden of course lied once again, saying he was doing all he could to bring down prices, when indeed, he hasn’t since he hasn’t set free our oil production–he’s only gone, hat in hand to other countries to beg. Until he gets his boot off the neck of the oil companies, that isn’t going to change and we’re stuck in this continual cycle.
