The Windsor police are finally trying to move in on the protesters at the Ambassador Bridge. I predicted Friday night that it would come Saturday morning, after the crowd that came out thinned. Not that it was too hard to figure out; they would try to move when there was the least amount of people.
The police announced a short time ago that they were starting their “enforcement action.”
The Windsor Police & its policing partners have commenced enforcement at and near the Ambassador Bridge. We urge all demonstrators to act lawfully & peacefully. Commuters are still being asked to avoid the areas affected by the demonstrations at this time.

They are talking with the protesters now, trying to negotiate with people to leave. They have buses lined up, ready to take the protesters away if they arrest them.

Police surrounded the protesters front and back. Large police armoured personnel carrier has been brought up in the distance. Snipers on the roof of customs building. pic.twitter.com/sI295G7hUV

Snipers are needed for peaceful people? They didn’t even have that in the U.S., with the violent BLM/Antifa actions. They also reportedly brought several armored vehicles, according to CBC reporters.

Despite the police surrounding them, some are still hanging in there.

Here’s a live feed.
A lot of the people who were there last night went home and haven’t come back yet. It’s not clear if they will ultimately leave, although some did. There are no children present, and it has been peaceful. The protesters are now talking with the police and chastising them for not supporting freedom. The protesters are saying that the government is concerned about the blockage at the bridge being bad for the economy, but they didn’t seem to mind how the restrictions and mandates in Canada have truly harmed the economy, the country, and people’s lives.
Police have moved to push them out. But so far, they have not arrested anyone yet; they just seem to be standing there right now.
