Biden Sets Horrible Example About Dodging Questions During Visit With School Kids

We’ve reported that Joe Biden’s handlers desperately work to prevent reporters from asking him questions, even insulting world leaders in the process like UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, cutting him off mid-sentence then rushing reporters out of the room.

The press filed a complaint about being rushed out of the room with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Then Biden’s response was to insult them when he met with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the Indian press was much better behaved than the American press and wouldn’t let Modi take questions, saying, “I think, with your permission, you could not answer questions because they [the press] won’t ask any questions on point.” The White House then removed those remarks from the official transcript of the event.

Today, he continued those shots at the press during a visit to a school in New Jersey and he even let the cat out of the bag about how he tries to avoid answering questions.

He went to East End Elementary School in North Plainfield, New Jersey as part of his effort to push his Build Back Better bill.

But the kids weren’t particularly interested in him, according to the Express, as he walked around the class asking how they were. At one table he tried to tell them he liked Legos as much as they did. A few of them engaged a little with him but most ignored him and they continued with what they were doing.

One little boy had a shirt that said “Future President” so at one point Biden bizarrely told him and the rest of the class, “When you’re president, see all these people here? They’re with you all the time, they get to ask you all kinds of questions and you try to figure out how you’re gonna avoid answering them.”

How appropriate to take a shot at reporters in front of little kids. Not.

Then also, what a thing to teach some poor little kid who thinks he wants to be president – that you avoid reporters. Shirk your responsibilities to answer questions and inform Americans about what you are doing. What a model of transparency he is. I’m thinking there are a lot of inspiring things that you might say in such a situation – like you get to help a lot of people or you can serve your country – something simple that the kids might understand. But telling the kid that you try to duck reporters probably isn’t one of them.

Fortunately, I’m willing to bet none of those kids really had any idea of what he was trying to say and most weren’t even listening to him anyway. They didn’t seem to really understand or care who he was.

But he’s probably going to get a talking to by the powers that be for confessing the truth about ducking questions.
