We’ve seen a lot of people being hit hard by the policies of the Biden Administration.
With inflation driving all kinds of prices up, it’s putting a real dent in people’s pocketbooks.
The Consumer Price Index surged last month by 5.4 percent, compared to September 2020, the biggest jump in 13 years — and higher than had been predicted by economists.
“Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 5.4 percent before seasonal adjustment. The indexes for food and shelter rose in September and together contributed more than half of the monthly all items seasonally adjusted increase. The index for food rose 0.9 percent, with the index for food at home increasing 1.2 percent. The energy index increased 1.3 percent, with the gasoline index rising 1.2 percent,” the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports. “The all items index rose 5.4 percent for the 12 months ending September, compared to a 5.3-percent rise for the period ending August.”

One of the big problems is the rise in gas and oil, which is going to hit energy prices hard as we go into the holidays and colder weather.
Compared with last winter, households will spend 54% more for propane, 43% more for home heating oil, 30% more for natural gas and 6% more for electric heating, the US Energy Information Administration said in a new report Wednesday.
The EIA expects home heating prices to rise across the country, for all heating fuels and under a variety of weather contingencies.
The forecast reflects a spike in energy costs, especially oil and natural gas. US oil prices recently closed above $80 a barrel for the first time since 2014. Natural gas, the most common fuel used o heat homes, has surged to prices unseen since 2008.
Listen as the Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) confirms it’s a big problem. “No family should have to choose between heating their home or putting food on the table,” Schumer says.

Can we remind Chuck whose party has control of the House, the Senate, and the White House? What an indictment of the Biden Administration and the failure of Democrats to actually do anything about the problem.
While prices are up around the world for oil and gas, Biden and the Democrats have been doing everything they can to kill our energy production and independence — from stopping the Keystone XL Pipeline to going after coal because of their climate agenda. Meanwhile, Biden was building up Putin’s energy production by relieving sanctions on Nord Stream 2 and begging OPEC to pump more oil. So much for the green agenda. It only applies to putting more restrictions on us, apparently.
So, if you’re wondering why prices are up, look in the mirror, Chuck, because this is on you Democrats.
But of course, the White House only thinks these are “high class” problems, apparently, according to Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

That’s how little they think of those Americans of whom Schumer is speaking.
Can there really be officials who are any more clueless?
