My colleague Sister Toldjah reported on the allegations against The Lincoln Project’s co-founder John Weaver who was accused of grooming young men for sex and inappropriate conduct.
The Lincoln Project refused to comment on the allegations and as we reported earlier, today they tried to wipe all evidence of Weaver from their pages.

Wow, @projectlincoln has quietly deleted @jwgop from their website after Laura Ingraham reported on allegations against Weaver involving dozens of young men

Isn’t this so like the publicists, even a Friday night dump.
Sorry, but you can’t airbrush him out of your lives, you Stalinists. Then, of course, even if you did, you’d still have to explain all the other losers in your little club.
The reason why they were doing the airbrush routine soon became clear when Weaver issued a statement about the accusations. His response was brought up memories of actor Kevin Spacey’s sociopathic response. Boy, is this some kind of spin!
Weaver admitted that he had sent “inappropriate” messages to young men.
โTo the men I made uncomfortable through my messages that I viewed as consensual mutual conversations at the time: I am truly sorry. They were inappropriate and it was because of my failings that this discomfort was brought on you,โ Weaver said.
โThe truth is that I’m gay,โ he added. โAnd that I have a wife and two kids who I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place.โ
While he acknowledged the messages (because the young men had already produced some of them so he could hardly do otherwise when the evidence was there), he denied the other more serious allegations.
โWhile I am taking full responsibility for the inappropriate messages and conversations,โ Weaver he said, โI want to state clearly that the other smears being leveled at me … are categorically false and outrageous.โ
Oh, alright. Guess that means all should be forgiven, right? Yikes. Not only did this make me think of Spacey, it also brought memories of this, same feel.

Except he left out the puppy, so it didn’t quite succeed.
In his “apology,” Weaver mentions that he has been on “medical leave” since last summer and now would not be returning to the group. Gee, was that around the time the news broke that he had previously registered as a Russian foreign agent for signing a deal with the uranium conglomerate TENEX?
TENEXโs parent company is Rosatom, a Russian state-owned corporation that also owns Uranium One โ the company that paid Bill Clinton $500,000 in speaking fees and millions to the Clinton Foundation after then-President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton signed off on the controversial merger in 2010.
Weaver later backed out of the lobbying arrangement, calling it a “mistake.”
How incredibly hypocritical that was when as part of the disingenuous Lincoln Project he was attacking Trump with spurious Russia collusion allegations.
What did the group say about all this after ducking responding for days? “John’s statement speaks for itself,” a Lincoln Project spokesman told Axios. That’s not any kind of an answer, you cowardly weasels.
There are now allegations that they knew about it and ignored it.
Hi @SteveSchmidtSES!
What did you know about John Weaverโs behavior and when did you know it? https://t.co/KByBjsOrB2

Good question, Lincoln Project, what’s your answer?
