In this episode of "'The View' Spew"...
Shockingly (ahem), the lady geniuses of ABC's clown-car show "The View" went after President Donald Trump on Wednesday (just like they go after Trump on every episode of their silly show), this time accusing the president of sharing "insider trading" information in response to the rollercoaster performance of the equity (stock) markets, as his tariff plans change almost daily in response to changing statements or actions of countries that slap tariffs on goods imported from the U.S.
Co-host Sunny Hostin was at her usual best (strictly for entertainment purposes), meaning she had zero idea what she was blathering on about.
What's fascinating to me is that the corruption is completely out in the open at this point. You know, because these kinds of actions where Trump tweeted out before this little pause? He said 'This is great time to buy.'
Someone with knowledge of an economic policy change that would cause the markets to shoot back up, right before posting about how great a time it is to buy right before the policy change happened, would certainly be guilty of insider trading in my view.
Oh, honey, no. That might be Hostin's "view," but she's dead wrong.
🤡 Sunny Hostin accuses President Trump of "insider trading" for telling people to "buy low."

"That's normally called insider trading!"
"The corruption is just completely out in the open."

Insider trading is the buying or selling of a company's securities by individuals who possess material, nonpublic information about the company. It's long been a controversial (and often abused) issue in the financial markets, and while the term often conjures images of corporate executives secretly profiting from inside knowledge, the reality is more complex. Some forms of insider transactions are perfectly legal, while others can result in severe criminal penalties — none of which Trump came anywhere near doing or saying.
Moreover, anyone who hasn't heard or spoken the old "buy low, sell high" axiom has either lived under a rock their entire lives — or is a ridiculous co-host on "The View," attempting yet again to nail (lie themselves silly) Trump and his latest evil statements or actions.
More Nonsense From "The View": Did Sunny Hostin's Unbridled Hatred for Trump Just Cross a Dangerous Line?
Here's a longer segment of the asininity:
WHAT CHANGED TRUMP’S MIND ON TARIFFS? With the president’s sudden tariff turnaround getting wildly mixed reviews from different sides of the aisle, 'The View' co-hosts question if this is the art of the deal or art of the steal. pic.twitter.com/iGa6jU2dWA

Incidentally, as a former CFP (Certified Financial Planner) with 30 years of experience in portfolio management, asset allocation strategies, and fee-based retirement planning, I've been amused by social media keyboard jockeys battling back and forth over every move in the markets in the aftermath of Trump's "Liberation Day," some of whom have done 180-degree turns in less than 24 hours in response to marker moves — up or down. Why so? Let's just call it "predisposed bias."
But Sunny Hostin and the other lady geniuses of "The View" throwing a hissy fit over Trump simply saying, probably off the cuff, "buy high" takes home the trophy.
