Due in large part to the decisive 2024 election of President Donald Trump, the creation of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), and efforts of other-worldly-brilliant Elon Musk, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) initiatives continue to give way to SMR — sanity, morality, and reason — in America.
Throughout the four disastrous years of the Biden-Harris administration, DEI thrived like an insidious cancer, metastasizing everywhere from public schools to the federal government to the upper echelons of the U.S. military.
While those days are ending, a new study reveals the "staggering scope" of DEI that was injected into the government during Joe Biden's reign.
So how staggering? Staggering to the tune of more than one trillion taxpayer dollars.
According to the authors of the report, the study can serve as a resource for the Trump administration to continue to identify and "destroy" the practice.

Here's more:
The study, conducted by the Functional Government Initiative and the Center for Renewing America, identified 460 programs across 24 government agencies in the Biden administration that diverted resources to DEI initiatives.
At least $1 trillion of taxpayer money was infused with DEI principles, the study states.
The study lays out DEI infusion across several federal agencies, including the Defense Department's plan to "integrate environmental/economic justice tools" into training, FEMA’s need to "instill equity as a foundation of emergency management," and the Labor Department's push to "embed equity in a sustainable manner that recognizes the multiple and overlapping identities held by workers."
Surely we can't blame all that on Biden, right? Heck yeah, we can.
On his first day in office, Biden signed Executive Order 13985, which was aimed at carrying out the goal of "advancing equity and racial justice through the federal government."
In other words, priorities — Democrat-style.
As I reported in late February, MSNBC's "Way Too Early," host Ali Vitali trotted out DEI activist Lauren Leader to eagerly endorse the vote by Apple shareholders not to abandon the company's DEI programs.
Leader's reason? DEI, she claimed, levels the playing field.
In business and democracy and government and everywhere. I mean, I think, and look, all the polls show that the vast majority of Americans really understand this. I mean, diversity is what this country was built on.
And most Americans do understand that it should be a level playing field for all.
No, Ms. Leader, America wasn't built on inclusion; it was built by hard-working men and women across this great land — often under dangerous conditions. Yep, merit.

The ugly little non-secret "secret" is that the left doesn't at all want a level playing field with respect to opportunity; it wants a level playing field with respect to results.
In other words, in the collective minds of the left, "inclusion" trumps (no pun intended) merit.
DOGE is finding billions of dollars in wasteful spending, and the Democrats are losing their minds as they realize their gravy train and woke projects are coming to an end.
