Before we dig into MSNBC resident simp and race-hustling host Joy Reid's latest biased idiocy, let's first get the obvious out of the way. As RedState readers are sometimes wont to point out, with cause, "Who cares about what Joy Reid says?" or "Nobody cares about what Joy Reid says." Or whoever.
While I suspect the above sentiment is true for a majority of conservatives (including me), I also subscribe to Rush Limbaugh's position on reporting the ruminations of Democrats and their lapdog media.
In essence, Rush said that the more we expose the left, the more they will tell us exactly who they are. And when we expose them to voters who might not otherwise see or hear them, that's never a bad thing.
This brings us to Reid's preview of Tuesday’s debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris and Joy's vacuous monologue on Monday’s edition of "The ReidOut."
Ready?
In Reid's TDS-riddled mind, “bad***” Kamala Harris needs to beat the “fascistic” Donald Trump “like he stole something.”
Incidentally, Imagine the histrionics on the left if Fox News host Jesse Watters said "bad*** Trump needs to beat communist Harris like she stole something."
Reid said a whole lot more, with zero evidence, including this nonsensical beauty (emphasis, mine):
And as a backup, he's counting on his big lie and embedded officials in key states who believe the big lie to simply refuse to certify the election in their states due to claims of so-called fraud by non-white voters. Throwing the election to the Republican-led House of Representatives or to John Roberts and the right-wing Supreme Court majority, both of which would absolutely name Trump as the winner regardless of the popular vote.
Does Reid believe her own nonsense?
It's hard to say, as is the case with most left-wing influencers, including Kamala Harris and a majority of the Democrat lawmakers. But here's the thing: All they really care about is programming low-information Democrat voters to believe their various narratives.
Reid continued, including gushing about Kamala's "campaign of joy" — before spewing more venom about "ugly, cruel, bizarre, and fascistic Trumpism." Memo to Joy Reid: "Joy" doesn't win elections.
In other words, all the joy and possibility represented by the Harris-Walz campaign isn't translating into some landslide victory for the fresh-faced candidate despite how hopeful and refreshing it would be to live in a world where the American president is a bad*** woman who actually laughs and can talk to regular people and kids, whose running mate is a decent, normal ex-teacher and football coach who actually cares that children not be hungry and who would end, once and for, miserable experiment with ugly, cruel, bizarre, and fascistic Trumpism and prevent Project 2025 with its threats of mass deportation and concentration camps for non-white migrants, a national abortion ban, and quote, “unleashing the police” and the U.S. military on urban communities and protesters.
Despite how exhausting and deadly the Trump era was, and how it devastated our lives, our psyches, our families, our economy, tens of millions of Americans, our fellow Americans, want to go back to that era. They do not want to move on. They want to go back. It makes no sense to me, and probably not to you either. But that is reality.
First, "fresh-faced candidate?" Please. Kamala Harris has been vice president of the United States for 1,329 days as of this article. Perhaps I haven't been observant enough, but where or how has "fresh-faced" Kamala's "joy and possibility" manifested itself over the more than three-and-a-half years, Ms. Reid?
Oh, and I won't bother commenting on Reid's ridiculous portrayal of whacked-out Tim Walz, who's even more radical than Harris. Reid's histrionic dark fairy-tale description of "Trumpism" also made me laugh, so that's that.
Finally, Reid played the "woman president" card.
Electing a woman president, let alone a non-white woman president, is going to be a fight, y'all. A huge fight. And that debate tomorrow night is a critical round in that fight. Kamala Harris has to nail it.
She has to beat Donald Trump like he stole something. But beating him will not be enough. Because he's going to be graded on a curve.
And when the debate is over, Democrats, independents, and pro-democracy Republicans are going to have to find and turn out every single voter they can in order to put Trumpism where it belongs, in the dustbin of history.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is a brain-destroying disease, "y'all" (to borrow Reid's faux folksiness). Coupled with Joy Reid's incessant race-hustling, it's almost a sad thing to witness.

The Bottom Line
Tuesday night's the night, gang. It's all on the line. If Trump sticks to his game plan and doesn't personally attack Harris, I think it's going to be a very good night for him and a very bad night, followed by a very bad Wednesday morning, for the simps at MSNBC and CNN, bless their Trump-loathing hearts.
