Fox News host Martha MacCallum blasted teachers' union boss Randi Weingarten for the sexist comment she made to the anchor, calling her “sweetheart” several times.
During Tuesday’s “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” the host was talking to Weingarten about the major parental rights case being heard in the United States Supreme Court against the Maryland public school system that forces students to participate in "instruction" that includes LGBTQ readings and other LGBTQ-themed "education."

“Martha, Martha, Martha, sweetheart, sweetheart, listen to me,” the teachers' union boss said when MacCallum was winning the argument against the LGBTQ push by teachers in schools.
“Please, don’t call me sweetheart,” MacCallum interjected, as she shook her head and looked down furiously.

Weingarten, who started out the interview pointing out that she was gay, noticed how upset the Fox News anchor looked and quickly apologized, “I’m sorry, my bad.”
However, MacCallum still looked rather annoyed as she looked down at her papers.
The two continued to discuss the case, with MacCallum appearing to land a final blow about the failure of schools to teach kids simple things like reading, writing, and math, in response to Weingarten’s false claim about the importance of teachers making every child feel seen in a classroom.
“I would say this, if you have a child in your classroom who’s gay, if you have a child in a classroom who doesn’t maybe speak the language very clearly, you have all kinds of struggles that have honestly existed since the beginning of time. I think you want to have a principle in a classroom that says 'We always respect each other,'” MacCallum said.
“And then beyond that, those are behavior issues, and you have to deal with behavior issues, but you don’t want to indoctrinate children,” she added. “You don’t want a child to hear a book read to the whole classroom and go home and say, ‘Why am I being taught that I was born a girl but that was just a guess?' I mean that is going to freak out some children.”
MacCallum continued. “They are going to be very confused. Four, five, and six-year-olds. Now, you said you don’t agree with this in the classroom [for that age]. But this is the problem. And then you got the same kid can’t read and is pushed all the way to eighth grade, and they still can’t read.”
Weingarten responded that 90 percent of a teacher's job in the classroom is not about pushing this LGBTQ agenda but is instead about “how we engage with kids to actually be their whole selves.”
MacCallum was quick to shut down the ridiculous woke comment.
“I don’t care … I’m honestly less concerned with children being their full selves than I am with them being able to read and write and do math. And that is the biggest problem that we face in our schools today,” the Fox News host said.
“And if I talk to one more teacher who tells me that they are not allowed to hold a child back who can not read, until he gets to the level … I’ll worry at home about whether or not you know my child’s whole self,” she added. “But what I really need is for the school to teach them to read and write and do math and not get into all this other stuff.
Weingarten claimed she understood what MacCallum had said but interjected a few times, claiming “You need both” in school.
