A group of anti-Israel protestors interrupted the biggest holiday parade of the year by forcing the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade to alter its route, according to several reports Thanksgiving morning.
According to those reports, the group - which was seeking to raise awareness for Palestinians but espousing pro-Hamas propaganda - was clad in white jumpsuits and carried with them a large banner that read "liberation for Palestine and planet."

The protesters then poured red liquid over themselves as they chanted the slogan, the video shows.
The demonstrators disrupted the parade in front of a green dinosaur balloon that was reportedly sponsored by the Sinclair Oil Corporation.
Newsday reporter Mathew Chayes also posted video of the scene on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said floats, bands and balloons were being diverted because of the action.

The protest comes ahead of a planned ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which is supposed to include a prisoner swap. However, Hamas now appears to be playing games with their end of the hostage release, which could lead to more conflict.
