As our senior editor Becca Lower reported, former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump agreed to a woman-only town hall in Cumming, Georgia, with Harris Faulkner, Fox News anchor and host of "The Faulkner Focus." Battleground Georgia began its early voting on Tuesday and broke records in terms of turnout. At the end of the day, 305,900 persons cast their votes, versus 136,000 in 2020. The town hall was taped that evening with topics that centered around border security, the economy, IVF and abortion, and foreign policy. The episode will air on Wednesday.  

Despite what the legacy media perpetually peddles, Trump's support in Georgia, particularly in this area of the state, is tremendous. Cumming is in Forsyth County, and Trump won this county in 2020 by 66 percent. Ahead of early voting, I spent a week in Floyd County, GA, in and around the city of Rome. The voters in that county were overwhelmingly pro-Trump. So, I was excited to go to a different city to see if the vibe was similar. I can safely say that the Trump support and enthusiasm was even more pronounced, and certainly felt among the women who attended this intimate event at the Reid Barn. 

Susan, a young Millennial in attendance, "wanted to see him live and unedited. That was very much what we had, and also in this intimate setting. So, it was just a very unique opportunity."

Even more unique is that Susan, a single female Millennial, is a Trump supporter. While Trump's support among females has increased this election cycle, single females are going hard for Vice President and selected Democrat nominee Kamala Harris. 

Harris, for her part, continues to lead among women by 9 points, 53-44%, aided by her showing among under-40, Black and Hispanic women. And she leads by 14 points among college graduates, 56-42%, among the more reliable groups for turnout.

Count older white women in that category, too. However, Michelle, an older white female, was firmly in Trump's camp and had voted for him in 2016, 2020, and planned to do so in 2024. Michelle described herself as "more economically conservative. And more economically with the border, those kinds of things, you know. Socially, a little bit, probably more of a libertarian."

Michelle said that: 

Free speech, the border security, all those kinds of things matter a lot to me. We'll see if he [Trump] lives up to it. I'm not particularly a worshipper of people. I watch what they do. 

The demographics of the town hall encompassed a diverse group of Georgia women among age, race, and social strata. Trump appeared relaxed and in his element. He really is at his best when having a dialogue, and particularly good when it's a non-hostile one. A select group of the women from the audience asked him questions, and Trump presented his case. 

Harris Faulkner appeared on Fox News' "Hannity" to tease the town hall's airing on Wednesday, and she said that some of the women:

had left their jobs [early] to be here today, because they wanted to be among a crowd asking real questions that felt like reality to them and wanting to get realistic answers, not just a pat on the head, 'I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that.'

I mean, the talk that — the questions that came about abortion — people who are voting, whether they have made up their minds or not for whomever they're voting, abortion now is in this election because the Left has thought, well, that's how you reach women. And so today just suddenly — everything came into a different light. And it was such an intimate setting that I just know that people were edified by what they saw. 

Look, I'm not going to say that it made up minds tonight. Six percent of the state of Georgia has undecided voters.

In terms of Trump's responses to the questions presented, they did not veer from the policy points he has already outlined throughout his campaign and he did not release any new policy prescriptions. Faulkner aptly said that this was more about women being heard. It also helped to reset the embedded media narrative on women and Trump.
