BREAKING: Nashville Police Release Footage of Audrey Hale Shooting Her Way Into Covenant School

Nashville school shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale’s car has been identified, and it contained additional weapons and what appears to be “additional materials” written by Hale, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. Nashville PD also posted video footage showing how Hale was able to breach the school and church property.

Around 9:54 a.m. Monday morning, Hale drove a gray Honda Fit to the Covenant Church and School, pulled around into the parking lot, and parked the car. Then armed with two “assault-type guns” and a 9-millimeter pistol, Hale shot through glass double doors and made her way into the school building.

Once Hale entered the premises, the video footage shows her brandishing the AR-15 rifle and literally walking through the halls looking for targets.

From these photos, the guns appear to AR-15s. Nashville PD also reported that Hale had a “significant amount” of ammunition.

When officers responded to the school, Hale confronted the arriving police vehicles, shooting from a second-story window on the campus.
