Will the Queen of Cancel Culture finally get her comeuppance? After yet another scandal, model Chrissy Teigen has issued a public apology to singer Courtney Stoddard after abusive tweets and messages surfaced which showed the model cyberbullying the artist.

Given that this is not the first time she has engaged in such behavior, it might seem appropriate that she should be next on the proverbial chopping block, but given the hypocrisy of the hard left Cancel Culture Community™, it’s not hard to imagine that they might turn a blind eye yet again.

The Mirror reported: “Chrissy Teigen has been forced to apologise after old tweets emerged of her telling Courtney Stodden to take their own life.”

Recently, Stodden, who identifies as “non-binary,” published a video in which they detailed the abusive messages Teigen sent, along with the public tweets she posted. Stodden told the Daily Beast that Teigen “wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take ‘a dirt nap’ but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself.”

These were just a few of the messages that Teigen sent to Stodden. After being battered on social media, Teigen issued an apology. She said she was “ashamed and completely embarrassed” about her behavior and said she had been “an insecure, attention seeking troll.”

Some have speculated that Teigen’s latest controversy was the impetus behind Target removing the model’s “Cravings” cookware line from its website. However, a spokesperson for the company told Fox Business: “We made the mutual decision in December to no longer carry the cookware line, given our continued focus on brands we develop and that can only be found at Target.”

No cancelation yet, folks.

Teigen has engaged in this type of behavior on social media on numerous occasions, lashing out at celebrities she doesn’t like. She even went so far as to insult actress Quvenzhané Wallis, who was nine years old at the time. “Is it okay to call a small child cocky? I am forced to like Quvenzhané Wallis because she’s a child right? Okay fine,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet.

Others on Twitter, like writer Clarkisha Kent, brought up Teigen’s tweets about Wallis, demanding she apologize to her also. “Apologize to Quvenzhané Wallis as well,” she tweeted. “Additionally you’re still a troll so you might not want to use that in the past tense. I hope this is the day you realize that some things come with their own punishment & that projecting your self-hate onto others isnt ‘quirky.’”

The model also targeted actress Lindsay Lohan, mocking her mental health and legal struggles. In one instance, she tweeted, “Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees Emma Stone.”

The model’s behavior is even more egregious given the fact that she is an enthusiastic proponent of cancel culture even after being the subject of scrutiny amid social media allegations that flight logs show she flew on sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s private jet to what is known as “sex slave island.” Despite her issues, she has led more than one campaign to cancel people who raise her ire.

The Federalist’s Evita Duffy wrote:

Ironically, Teigen is one of social media’s most prolific trolls and has unabashedly orchestrated some of the biggest cancel culture online moments. In May, Teigen cancelled New York Times food columnist and blossoming celebrity chef Alison Roman by fueling a Twitter mob that accused Roman of being “racist” because she called Teigen’s cooking website a “content farm.”

Despite being exponentially more wealthy and powerful than upstart blogger chef Roman, Teigen feigned the hurt victim in a now infamous tweet that drew national media attention. For daring to diss a “woman of color’s” empire and brand strategy, Roman’s reputation was torched. Despite issuing an apology to Teigen, The New York Times put Roman’s column on temporary leave and her cookbook promotion was indelibly damaged.

But that’s not all. Duffy also noted that Teigen “also took it upon herself to cancel and boycott two popular, upscale gyms whose CEOs held fundraisers for President Trump.”

In a post on Instagram, the “insecure, attention seeking troll” wrote: “I don’t normally make posts like this, but a lot of my very cool socially aware, progressive, awesome, amazing friends are members of Equinox or SoulCycle. And I just want to let you know that their owner is hosting a giant Trump fund-raiser and so… F- -K THEM. Cancel your memberships today.”

Teigen, along with several other authoritarian leftist types, also tried to cancel Goya foods after its CEP made positive comments about former President Donald Trump.

So what’s going to happen to Chrissy Teigen now that she is embroiled in yet another controversy? It appears she will get the same treatment she has received in the past: absolutely nothing. The Cancel Culture Community™ is rather selective about who it chooses to target, and nine times out of ten, it involves its political opposition.

The fact that leftist influencers are not calling for Teigen’s cancelation further demonstrates that they do not actually care about this type of behavior. In fact, they are fans of it as long as they can use it as a political cudgel. But what else would we expect from these people?
