Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. In response to this about the shibboleths of the damned, our mail bag got this:
If you wish to mislead concerning the Leviticus quote, that’s your business, but it was really aimed at birth control. Also, the Apostle Paul also said that not all of what he said was inspired, and there is question about who really wrote the epistles of Timothy. They may be Divine forgeries. Of course people can take comfort in them if they want to. That’s the point of personal faith. As far as your Gospel quotes, you overlooked the one about Jesus healing the centurion’s dear friend. Jesus didn’t rebuke the centurion for his homosexual relationship. Oh and you don’t have to worry about me claiming to be Christian. People like you convinced me that I wouldn’t want to, but I support those who identify as Christian in spite of you. They walk humbly with their God.
I’m thinking Episcopalian, United Church of Christ, or McAfee School of Theology here. Wow. Totally missed that the centurion was gay.
