Message to Republican Appointed Justices: Follow Clarence Thomas' Lead

I cannot say enough good things about Justice Clarence Thomas, so let me state my bias up front. I believe Justice Thomas is one of the greatest Americans to ever serve this country.

I have a signed copy of "My Grandfather's Son" with a personal message from him inscribed. If my house was burning to the ground and it came down to getting the cash out of the safe, or this book, I would grab the book—it is priceless to me. His life story is what America is all about. If he were a liberal democrat, he would have a statue in space already. Thankfully, he’s on our side.

Recently, rogue judges have used the judicial branch and their own authority to thwart the executive authority of the president. Somehow, this is only an issue when republicans are in the White House. The good news, our majority on SCOTUS at this point is large enough (in most cases) to skirt the half-hearted Republican appointees.

Here is my message to Republican appointed SCOTUS Justices: until Justice Thomas is off the high court or in heaven, just follow his lead. Imagine being a justice nominated by a Republican and voting opposite of Clarence Thomas? Justice Amy Coney Barrett does this regularly and it’s infuriating—Chief Justice Roberts is not even worth mentioning.

The judicial branch this week, led by many activist judges, is finally taking some major Ls in the effort to stop President Trump’s conservative agenda. Trump, who has in less than three months completely changed the landscape at our southern border, received a major win from SCOTUS. In a 5-4 decision, the White House can continue to use the Aliens Enemies Act to remove violent gang members. SCOTUSBlog on X explained it this way:

“The Supreme Court grants the Trump administration’s request to continue to summarily remove noncitizens whom the gov't has designated as members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang under the Alien Enemies Act. The court lifted a pair of orders by Chief U.S. District Judge James Boasberg that had barred the government from removing noncitizens who were designated as members of TdA under Trump's March 15 executive order.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller outlined just how large of a victory this is for America:

“This was a huge, I mean monumental victory for President Trump… A total embarrassment for crazy Judge Boasberg… Those monsters can now be hunted down and expelled from this country with speed, force, and efficiency.”

Tuesday Morning Minute: No-Name Judges

As Miller makes clear, this is a huge win for Trump and America, as the president now has full authority to deport these criminal aliens. The only issue? We barely got this victory. Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the liberal justices dissenting this decision. How is it possible to have a Republican appointed justice, who was sold as a solid vote, dissenting on such an obvious decision? Who votes against removing criminal, dangerous gang members from the country? It is truly mind-blowing. ACB finds herself regularly on the opposing side of Justice Thomas, which means she’s simply wrong on those decisions.

In another 7-2 SCOTUS victory, DOGE cuts that fired 16,000 federal employees in February have now been stayed by the high court, finding the non-profit organizations that brought the suit did not have standing.

Vice President JD Vance took to X to summarize how conservatives are feeling about the rejection by SCOTUS when it comes to these activist judges:

“The Supreme Court today rejected the idea that far-left judges in DC can overrule President Trump's immigration enforcement. This is a major loss for the lunatics and a major win for the American people. Onward!”

I understand the separation of powers. The courts and their judges have authority to rule in their interpretation of the Constitution and our laws, but if I’m a Supreme Court Justice, I’m not going to be caught on the other side of a decision by just Clarence Thomas.
