'The Media Hasn't Learned': JD Vance Rubs the Legacy Media's Nose In Trump's First 100 Days of Success

JD Vance certainly has a way with words, and unfortunately for the legacy media, a lot of those words were used to smack them around during Wednesday's cabinet meeting of the Trump administration.

Vance took a moment during the meeting to point out some very interesting things about what has been accomplished, including things that have the left apoplectic... like Pete Hegseth and his success.

Vance began by stating that, from the moment he was born to the moment Trump was inaugurated for the second time, America went from a manufacturing superpower to one that depends on foreign countries like China to produce their goods for them. We went from a proud and strong military to one that few people wanted to join, and one that once had a solid idea about border policy on both sides of the aisle, to one that allowed millions and millions of illegals through and harming the American people and its economy.

"And what has happened in 100 days is we started to reverse every single one of those negative trends," said Vance.

Vance then made a very interesting point. He said that you see the portraits of presidents past in the Oval Office, and called some of them "placeholders" as they allowed their staff to sign executive orders with an auto-pen instead of being men of action. It was then that Vance turned his attention to the media.

"The reason the media attacks this administration as chaotic is because the president is solving the problems the American people set about to solve," said Vance. "He's actually doing the things that he promised he would do."

"And let me just make one observation," he continued. "I've seen the data... but the most under-reported fact of the first 100 days is that we came in with a massive recruitment shortfall, and in 100 days, Secretary Hegseth and President Trump's leadership, we now have people breaking down the doors to join our military."

Vance then turned to the media directly behind him and asked, "why has that happened?"

"Why did we go from a military where people didn't want to serve to now, all of a sudden, they do want to serve?" asked Vance. "That's a story you guys should cover, but compared to that, how much time have you instead focused on the fact that we deported an MS-13 gang member with a valid deportation order."

"Why is it that the press is so focused on the fake BS, rather than what's really going on in the country?" he asked.

Vance finished by pointing out to Trump that he can be as successful as anyone's ever been, but ultimately "the media hasn't learned the lesson of the last 40 years."

Vance isn't wrong. Trump has done a great job of doing exactly what he was elected to do by the American people, but the media is constantly hyper-focusing on anything that could even be perceived as a negative, even if they have to push constant lies to do so.

It's a sad state of affairs, but the legacy media is corrupt to the point of being a propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, and that's not an exaggeration to say.

Thankfully, the Trump administration is one that doesn't play the media's game, and in fact, often finds ways to make them look like fools. It's a breath of fresh air as the Republican Party has always played defense against the media, but for the first time, we're seeing an administration that's proactive against the press and willing to fight them head on.
