Gina Carano Delivers Another Blow to Disney As Her Lawsuit Ramps Up and the Mouse Starts to Sweat

Actress Gina Carano's lawsuit against Disney is moving forward, despite Disney's best efforts to stop it.

Backed by Elon Musk, Carano's lawsuit over her wrongful termination by Disney just scored another victory, as the court is going to force the House of Mouse to turn over information regarding the compensation of various actors involved in "The Mandalorian," such as Pedro Pascal, Rosario Dawson, Carl Weathers, and others. This is happening despite Disney's attempts to stop it.

Carano commented on this victory with a post on X:

This is a small breath of fresh air in this long arduous process. I am grateful to the court for moving so quickly.

I look forward to the details of my case becoming public and clearing my name, which will allow me to continue doing what I love without such brutal discrimination.

I remain incredibly grateful for this opportunity to defend myself against this Goliath.

Carano's attorney, Gene Schaerr, noted that the court is forcing Disney to turn over the information through a "motion to compel," which was filed back on April 2, after Disney attempted to throw a lot of hurdles and blocks in the way in order to stop the info from getting out. This motion effectively causes the judge to force Disney's hand to release the info within 20 days of the order.

Getting this data will allow Carano to be compensated for the money she would have received if not for her wrongful termination in 2021, including and up to the upcoming "Mandalorian & Grogu" film. More importantly, it allows the court to see evidence of discriminatory pay.

With this info in hand, Carano's legal team could potentially unlock even more things to discover about Disney's decisions in regard to how they treated Carano differently from others.

Carano was terminated by Disney over a post she made warning the people how seeing each other as evil based on beliefs can lead to awful outcomes and using the German people's disdain for the Jewish community after years of propaganda — which led to the rounding up of Jewish people and concentration camps during the 1940s — as an example of how this ends badly.

Carano was in the left's crosshairs over refusing to bend the knee to them in various ways, and they were clamoring for her firing at that time. Disney, being the far-left company that it was, seemed ready to do so, and just needed a reason. Carano's post ended up being that reason, which many people identified as being a bad excuse to do so, especially since her colleague, Pascal, made a post not long before hers that did exactly what Disney was accusing Carano of.

If Carano's lawsuit succeeds, this will be a massive blow to Disney, and yet another one that it brought on itself. Disney's embrace of political leftism has cost it significantly, and between this lawsuit and the behavior of its other stars that severely damaged its brand and products, Disney will likely change how it handles its employees going forward.
